Alex kept sleeping calmly. It was a good thing he hadn't had nightmares again, a good thing he hadn't woken up thrashing and crying.
Alex kept sleeping calmly. It was a good thing he hadn't had nightmares again, a good thing he hadn't woken up thrashing and crying.
Gabe sighed gently. He was laying right next to Alex, and slowly, finally fell asleep.
Alex moved a little, snugglign into Gabe's side.
Gabe woke up late in the morning. Thankfully, he wasn't needed at work.
Alex was still asleep, curled up close to Gabe.
Gabe smiled a little, sitting up.
Alex shifted slightly.
Gabe got off of the bed, tucking Alex in more securely before going to make breakfast.
Alex let out a quiet hum, still sleeping.
Gabe eventually finished cooking, bringing in two plates of food.
"Alex," he says softly.
Alex shifted a little, still half-asleep.
"Alex," he said again. He set one plate down, putting his hand lightly on Alex.
Alex opened his eyes at the touch, blinking at Gabe.
"Alex, I've got breakfast." Gabe sat down on the bed next to Alex.
Alex nodded, sitting up with the blankets wrapped around his shoulders. "M'kay…"
Gabe handed Alex's food over, smiling a little.
"How did you sleep?"
Alex took the food. "Good. Thank you."
Gabe smiled, nodding.
"You're welcome." He started eating, relaxed. The news of what Alex could do didn't seem to be affect him at all.
Alex studied him for a moment. "Why aren't you scared of me?" He asked quietly, picking at his food.
"I see no reason to be. Just cause I know what you can do doesn't mean I still don't like you as a friend." Gabe has almost stopped at "like you," but he added the second part anyways. If not for Alex, then for himself.
Alex nodded a little bit. "Oh. I… alright." He replied softly, looking down at his food.
Gabe smiled a little at Alex before beginning to eat.
Alex kept picking at his food, not eating very much.
Gabe was seated next to Alex, and his knee accidently bumped into Alex's lightly.
Alex glanced at him for a moment, then down at his food again.
