She continued to pet him slowly, glancing around to make sure there as no one nearby. She wasn't embarrassed, she just wanted to make sure that no one was going to tell any hunters where they were.

Miles felt soothed under Emmiline's petting, and he let himself blep. (:3)
His ears twitched as he dreamed of living a perfect life as a werewolf in a place where he could live without being shamed.
(The blep X3)
Emmeline closed her eyes again and tried her best to stay awake, slowly falling asleep despite her best efforts. "Five minutes," She mumbled to herself before drifting to sleep.
(The bleeeeeeeppp!!! :3)
Miles continued to nap, becoming more and more sluggish as he slept. He knew he was going to get more tired the longer he slept, yet he didn't care. As long as I'm alive when I wake up….
(Yassssssssssss :3)
She slept peacefully, dreaming about getting to wherever they were going and what her life would be like there.
A couple hours later at midday, Miles pried an eye open. Hm….? He had slipped out of his sleep a while ago, and he was ready to go…. Just a few more minutes… He shifted about and rolled over, unaware Emmiline was leaning against him.
Emmeline fell backwards on the ground, hitting her head and quickly waking up, "What's happening?!" She asked, her eyes flying open. She groaned slightly and rubbed her head, glancing back at Miles, "Ow."
Miles turned his head around. "Wha? What'd I do now???" He growled, ears bent.
"You rolled..and my head hit the ground." She said, sitting up and turning so that she was facing him, "We should probably get moving as well."
“Oh, fine,” He grumbled, stretching his back out with his tail in the air, soon standing up. “But I would rather keep a safe distance from that town down there….” Who knows who lives there….
She nodded, "We can do that," she stood up and rubbed her eyes before grabbing the bag. "As long as we get to wherever we're going soon."
Miles poked his nose around, but wasn't caught by anything suspicious. "Yup… I'm sure we can get there by tonight if we try…." He took a deep breath and stepped out, yet still stayed extremely close to the edge of the path. I can't let people see me… Who knows what they'll try to do to ensure my death….
She followed him out onto the path, walking on the outside of him to try to block him from view, "If we pass anyone, I'll try to hide you so that they can't see that you're a werewolf."
He tried to keep in his bellowing laugh. "You? Try to hide me??" Miles rolled his eyes. "Using yourself to hide me is like hiding a bloodstain on a white cloth. Especially with someone your size…" I'm not lying… It is totally true.
"Oh be quiet," She mumbled, her face turning slightly red, "I'm trying to help." She scowled at the ground and looked over at him, "What should I do then?"
"Use the blanket to cover me," He said lowly. "It's the largest thing I have that covers my entire wolf-like body. Unless you're using it to carry stuff. Then we can just find a detour…." There's nothing wrong with both…. But I'd prefer if we stayed on the path for the sake of my lack of direction….
Emmeline nodded, "I can empty it out quick, it's just holding the valuables and my other set of clothes." She stopped and set the pack down, pulling out her extra shirt and laying it out, moving as many of the valuables as she could to the shirt and tying it closed again. She held the few other things in her arms as she held the blanket up for him, "Here you go."
Miles quickly pulled it over his body, pinching it at his chest and twisting it to cover his entire body from nose to tail. "Bam. Here I go, incognito mode…." He said, sneering.
She smiled slightly, holding in a small laugh. She shook her head and picked up the new bundle of valuables, holding them in her arms along with the rest of her set of clothes. She started walking again, looking over at Miles.
Miles trudged on through, passing the village with somewhat ease. That was almost too easy… His ear twitched, but he tried his best to keep them flat.
They were back in the wilderness, passing by a small creek. Miles took the time to soak in the air, enjoying his nice stroll, even if he looked awkward in that blanket of his.
Emmeline started humming softly again, the bundle of valuables still held in her arms as they walked. She smiled and listened to the sound of the water as they passed the creek.
They soon came to where they were going, a small town within Miles' line of sight. "There it is," He mumbled. "I suppose we should try and find a place to stay for the night. Preferrably a place where social interaction can be avoided…." I don't need to be killed or assumed that I would kill anyone…
"Do you want me to go see if there is any open inns?" She asked, "Maybe one on the edge of town?" She smiled and looked at the town, trying to see how big it was.
"That would be–" He winced, shifting onto his other leg. "–Much appreciated." And make it snappy… My leg's beginning to hurt again…. Miles kept his tail stuck flat against his legs, but he couldn't really keep himself stuck in a stuffy blanket on a warm day. His fur was getting all hot and sweaty, yet he couldn't risk getting seen.
She nodded and set the things she was holding down by the side of the road, realizing that she still had his money from before. "I'll be back as quick as I can." She looked up at him before dashing off into the town, looking for any inns.
