"Like what? I gotta deal with this before somebody else gets hurt. We've been through this."
"Like what? I gotta deal with this before somebody else gets hurt. We've been through this."
"Yeah, but…I don't know. We could explore the castle? Or play a game?"
Lloyd sighed softly and ran his fingers through his hair. "But I keep putting it off… I don't wanna avoid it anymore."
"But I'd rather not have to tell your family and…Anton, that you're dead."
"I'm not gonna die… probably. Now, let's go." Lloyd held out his hand to help Ellis up.
Ellis hesitated, then took Lloyd's hand. "You better not die."
"I'll try my best." Lloyd smiled softly and grabbed a sheath to put a sword in. He kept a sword in his room, so he grabbed that one and opened his window. "Alright, let's go." He picked up Ellis and jumped out the window.
Ellis yelped as he was picked up, as Lloyd jumped, and he clung to the prince, eyes wide.
"You'll be fine, don't worry." Lloyd spread his wings and started flying to town.
Ellis still clung to him. "You could have warned me!"
"But then you would have refused and that would waste time!" Lloyd rolled his eyes, grinning a bit.
Ellis squirmed a little bit, not liking this. "But what if you drop me?"
"I'm not gonna drop you, El. I've got you." Lloyd smiled softly to reassure him.
Ellis frowned a little bit. "Mmmm…if you say so…" he replied, shaking his head a little bit. He was still clinging to Lloyd a little bit.
"We're landing in a sec, don't worry." Lloyd soon reached the town and landed smoothly.
Ellis grumbled under his breath.
"You're fine." Lloyd set Ellis down.
Ellis took a moment to steady himself. "Next time, warn me."
"Alright, alright. Now we gotta find the assassins…" Lloyd sighed softly.
He rolled his eyes. "Yes, let's go find the people who Shot us. Sounds safe."
"Well, that was kind of the point of coming out here."
He sighed. "Fine. Let's go."
"Keep an eye out." Lloyd started walking slowly, watching the tops of buildings.
Ellis nodded, walking with him.
Lloyd eventually spotted the very end of a rifle. "Get down!" He tackled Ellis to the ground.
