Ellis smiled, looking down at the prince and the puppy.
Ellis smiled, looking down at the prince and the puppy.
"Good boyyyy." Lloyd purred, petting Lio gently. "Alright, stand." He lifted Lio and gave him another treat.
Ellis looked to Lloyd. "What should I do?"
"You can try, if you want to that is." Lloyd passed the treats over to Ellis.
Ellis nodded, taking the treats and looking at Lio.
Lio waddled over to Ellis, wagging his tail excitedly.
Ellis smiled. "Sit." he tried, reaching down to press on Lio's hips.
Lio obeyed and pushed his nose forward, whining for his treat. "Seems to be very food motivated." Lloyd laughed.
He laughed, and gave Lio the treat, smiling softly.
Lio stood back up once he'd been fed and sniffed Ellis's hands, searching for more.
Ellis chuckled softly, petting Lio a little bit.
"Lio, sit." Lloyd repeated the process a few times until Lio seemed to grasp the concept.
Ellis passed the treats back to Lloyd so he could give them to Lio.
After a while, Lio seemed to have mastered the command, so Lloyd picked him up and held him close. "I think that's enough for today."
Ellis smiled, sitting down. "Good." He replied, reaching out to pet Lio.
"What do you wanna do now?" Lloyd asked.
"Hmm. We could go for a walk?" he wanted to get out of these four walls.
"I don't think I'm allowed to yet… assassins and stuff. We could probably sneak out, though." Lloyd shrugged.
"Oh. Well, we probably shouldn't then, if you aren't allowed."
"Well, I've got to deal with the assassins some time, so why not now?"
He shook his head a little bit. "I…"
"And bringing you with me means that I've got someone to inform everyone else that I've died." Lloyd stood up and stretched. "Er… if I do die, that is. Obviously that's not the ideal outcome."
Ellis stared at him for a moment. "Lloyd!"
"What?" Lloyd asked, genuinely confused. "I wouldn't want to just disappear without explanation. We should at least tell my family if I die."
"Lloyd, no. We'll…figure out something else."
