Astral hummed softly in response, resting his head on Simon's.
"Goodnight…" Astral stayed awake, rubbing Simon's back gently. He could see Mia wanted to talk with him, after all.

It wouldn’t take more than five minutes for Simon to fall asleep, his chest rising and falling steadily. And while there were a few tears still left on his cheeks, he had a soft smile on his face, feeling safe, something he hadn’t felt in awhile.
Astral wiped away the last of the tears, quiet.
"What will you do when he finds out?" Mia asked softly, tentitively, once she was sure Simon was asleep.
"I… I don't know…" Astral trailed off. "Is- Why do I care so much? Why do I hate the idea of Simon being hurt so much like he will be..?" Mia just shook her head some.
"It… it seems to me like you… well, love him." That made Astral think, and well into the early morning as well. Did he? Did he love Simon..?
((Astral like “pardon me while I have an existential crisis”))
Simon would stay peacefully asleep for the remainder of the night, and well into the morning, finally waking up around 9:30 in the morning. Counting the time he’d been awake after the night terror, he’d gotten roughly twelve hours of sleep.
(Astral: Simon, you make me feel things, things I never have before.)
(Astral: Like questioning my entire existence, please s t o p)
Astral had fallen asleep quite late, barely sleeping at all. He held Simon close to himself in that time, his head occasionally nuzzling against him. The god was so peaceful, now that he was asleep. He didn't have to worry about dreams. He probably wouldn't wake up until woken up.
((lmaoooo f for Astral))
When Simon did finally wake up, blinking tiredly, he had to admit he was relieved to see that Astral was still there. He didn’t sit up, not wanting to wake the god up just yet. He simply looked up at him, smiling when he saw the peaceful expression on Astral’s face.
Astral nuzzled against Simon again when the other moved some, his hold pulling Simon closer. Just a soft, tiny smile came to his lips, the God still asleep. Mia had woken up by now, silent as she looked at the two.
Simon’s own smile widened when he saw one appear on Astral’s face. The god never smiled that much, so when he did, it always made Simon immensely happy. Knowing he’d wake the other if he moved again, he stayed still, not wanting the moment to end.
Astral shifted some himself, burying his face in Simon's hair. He smelled nice… Astral couldn't get enough of Simon, not even in his sleep it seemed.
Simon couldn’t help but blush softly at the action, holding in a small laugh as he pressed his face into Astral’s chest again.
Astral breathed deeply, relaxing more. He acted much differently then when he was awake, much more intimate. The god nuzzled his nose against Simon, letting out a breath.
Simon liked it…like a lot. He wanted to get used to this, to have this be something he could wake up to every day. He knew he shouldn’t think that way but…there was no harm in just day dreaming about it for now, right?
Astral made a soft sound in his sleep, actually rolling over now. He still held Simon close, the human laying on his chest. The god was still smiling, head laid back on the pillow.
Simon squeaked softly in surprise at the movement and instantly regretted it, quickly looking up at Astral to make sure he hadn’t accidentally woken him up.
Astral stirred some, close to waking up without actually doing so. His eyelids fluttered a bit, but didn't open. He turned his head to the side, grip instinctually tightening some.
Simon let out a soft sigh of relief, glad that Astral had stayed asleep. But that movement alone might be enough to wake Astral up at this point, considering how close he was to consciousness.
Astral's eyes finally fluttered open, and he waited a moment before looking down at Simon with a small smile.
"Good morning," he said softly. "Did you sleep well the second time around?"
Simon smiled back at him, a faint blush dusting his cheeks. He nodded. “Mhm. Thanks for staying with me…it was nice…”
"You're welcome!" Astral felt a blush settling in his own cheeks. "Yes, it was very nice…" The god sat up some, Simon resting in his chest.
Simon loosened his grip on Astral so the other could sit up easier. “Did you sleep well?” He asked, not knowing how late Astral had been up contemplating his entire existence.
Astral idea he couldn't tell the truth with this.
"Absolutely wonderfully," the god said softly.
That answer seemed to please him. “That’s good, for some reason I was worried you wouldn’t have.” He yawned widely.
"Really?" Astral hummed. He held back his own yawn, giggling some.
“Mhm” he nodded, smiling again when he heard Astral’s laugh.
"Well, I am glad to say I slept wonderfully with you…" Astral hummed softly, smiling some in turn at Simon.
