“Thank you!” He said, sitting back up. As he began to eat it actually seemed like he had an appetite. He was actually already eating a decent amount.
“Thank you!” He said, sitting back up. As he began to eat it actually seemed like he had an appetite. He was actually already eating a decent amount.
Astral was happy when Simon started eating. He want sure why, whether it was the baby or the man was just doing better, but Astral was glad for it. He say down, eating himself.
"Anywhere in particular you'd like to stop by when we head down?"
He shook his head. “Not really. I’ll probably be fine to go wherever you want.” He’d almost completely finished everything on his plate, which was a lot different than normal.
"Ah…" Astral fell quiet a moment. "Well, I was thinking about the zoo, actually." He offered a bit of a smile. He was so glad Simon has are so much… It was a good sign.
He smiled. “That sounds really fun! It’s been a long time since I went to the zoo.” He said, finishing eating. He hadn’t finished everything on his plate but he was pretty damn close.
"Great!" Astral stood, picking up Simon's plate. He was good at telling with Simon has finished by now, carrying it over to clean up.
"If you want to get a shower or change before we go, I'll be finished up here in a bit."
“Mm I should probably go shower.” He replied with a small pout. He still dreaded the activity, but not as much as he had before.
Astral nodded some. He saw the pout, thinking some.
"You can always dim the lights," he finally offered. "It could help." He offered a kind smile.
((Astral stop being nice you shit it makes it harder to hate you XD))
He looked up, a bit surprised that Astral knew what he was thinking about. But after a second he smiled. “Okay, I’ll do that.”
(Don't worry it'll get easy soon <3)
Astral nodded some.
"Don't worry, tomorrow it should be safe to finish the transition." He grinned, knowing it would be an illusion. Still, it would be good for Simon and the child for Simon to feel better about himself.
((Well thank goodness <3))
“R-really?” He asked, looking back up at Astral with an even wider smile on his face. He’d thought the god had just forgotten about it, or didn’t want to do it anymore. Simon hadn’t bothered him about it, knowing he’d already asked enough from Astral. “T-thank you!”
Astral set the dishes down a moment, moving over to hug Simon.
"Really," he promised. "You didn't think I was gonna leave you like this after last time, did you?" He grinned at Simon.
((Yep we’re back to hating Astral <3))
He shrugged. “I-I don’t know I just thought you forgot…or something…” It sounded lame even as he said it but that’s how he’d felt.
Astral gently pulled away from the hug, patting Simon's shoulder.
"I promise I didn't. We just had to wait until your body was rest for another operation like this. I can't take away the initial physical shock." A bunch of bullshit, but he didn't bring that up. He could, and would if he wanted to. He probably would when he actually did the operation.
“Oh okay..that makes sense.” It made him happy that Astral took care of him so much. (( :’) )) Even if he could, he wasn’t sure if he’d want to leave at this point.
Astral smiled once more.
"Now, go on ahead and get cleaned up, I'll finish up in here and we can grab Mia and go."
He nodded, standing up, humming softly as he happily made his way to the shower. ‘Just one more day.’ He reassured himself.
Astral cleaned up in the kitchen, finishing up. He walked out, going to his room and changing himself.
It took Simon about 10 minutes in the shower, the lights dimmed like Astral had suggested.
Astral moved out to the living room, sitting down again. Mia glanced over, her good mood faultering a bit. She still didn't trust the good, at all.
Simon got changed as quickly as he could and made his way back out to the living room. He knew Mia didn’t like being around Astral for too long on her own. Once Simon made it out to the living room, he actually looked pretty nice, more put together than normal.
Astral looked up, smiling at Simon. He did look a lot better.
"Shall we get going then?" The god stood, picking Mia up and handing her to Simon.
He nodded. “Sounds good to me.” He said, gently taking Mia from the god’s hands, making sure she was still okay.
Mia didn't like Astral touching her, not at all, but she kept it to herself. She offered Simon a smile to show she was fine, especially in his hands now. Astral moved over, wrapping his arms around Simon.
Simon nodded a bit in acknowledgment at that, and looked up at Astral when he felt the other man wrap his arms around him. “Ready to go?”
