"My stomach hurts," she moaned.

He gasped and his eyes widened. "Kate! Are you okay?! Do we need to go back?!", he said, panicked.

"From laughing, you moron…"

"You're the moron! I mean, who chases birds!" He laughed and got ready to run just in case.

"You did!"

"Of course not! You're the one who scared the bird!" He smiled slyly.

"No I wasn't!"

"Yes, I'm sure it was the ghost behind you.", he said sarcastically.

She pursed her lips and crossed her arms. "Meanie…"

He stuck his tongue out. "Ms. Meanie!", he chanted.

"You're the meanie!"

"You're the one who's lying!"

"What am I lying about?"

"About me being a meanie, meanie!", he said as he stood on the park bench. People stared.

She looked up at him with wide eyes. "What are you doing?"

August looked down and realized he was standing on the park bench. "Oh!" He jumped down. "That explains why I was so much taller than everyone else."

She giggled. "Why did you do that, silly?"

"Because you're a meanie.", he said triumphantly.

"I'm not!"

He skipped along. "Are you sure?"

"Yes!" She followed him. "Where are we going?"

"That's what I was wondering…", he said.

"Why don't we go to your apartment?" she asked.
