"You just said they told you that they wouldn't come! What else?!", he said exasperatedly.
"You just said they told you that they wouldn't come! What else?!", he said exasperatedly.
"Oh!" she cried. "Why didn't you say so? They said, they were going to give me a medicine that would make me feel better. And they gave it to me, and I felt better!" She grabbed his wrists tightly. "They opened my eyes, Auggie."
"To what?" He had a bad feeling.
"To a freed world!"
"Freed world of what?! Free of me?!" He was hurt, angry, and confused at the same time. A dangerous combination. He grabbed her shoulders and looked her in the eye.
She narrowed her eyes slightly, having to response to him grabbing her shoulders. "Freed from freedom."
August's phone rang.

The ringing stopped for a couple seconds, then it rang again. Whoever was calling was determined.

"Don't worry, I paid."
She pressed her lips together. "You need to bring Kate back to the hospital."
"Why?!" His eyes narrowed.
"We weren't finished," she answered shortly. "She's not cleared yet."
"What were you planning on doing?" Why wasn't she cleared?
"We need to make sure she's fully rehabilitated before she can be in public again. August, you have to bring her back here."
"Give me a reason why.", he growled.
She was shocked by his tone. "We need to finish testing her. You want to find out what happened to her, don't you?"
"Yes I do. Which is she's out.", he argued.
"We aren't finished!" she insisted.
"With what?" His tone was acid. Don't trust anyone…
