Davin nodded. "That sounds perfectly fine." he replied, looking over at Tohru with a quick smile. "I…after that…I think I'd rather go home."

@Becfromthedead group

"Fair enough," Tohru agreed, lowering his eyes, "I'm so-"
Tohru cut himself off and internally berated himself for apologizing too much again. He distractedly messed with his hair a little as he started in the direction of the exit.

Tohru felt a tingle go down his spine upon Davin touching him.
"Now, let's see… what time is it…" he murmured, trying to distract himself from thinking about Davin.
Whatever feelings he was having, they had to be fleeting. Besides, it felt so wrong, considering how they met, and how basically, if he wanted to, Tohru could turn him in for bounty any second. He wouldn't. Not now. But that leverage he had over Davin weighed on him strangely.

Davin shrugged. "Uhm…between lunch and dinnertime, is all I know." he replied, stretching and tilting his face up towards the sky for a moment.

"Works for me," Tohru replied, starting their course to their apartment.
He let out a soft sigh. None of that went how he expected. But he should've expected that.

Davin walked with Tohru, taking a deep breath and trying to push away the memory of that painting. It wasn't the first time he had seen something like that, and it wouldn't be the last.

Tohru unlocked the apartment door and pushed it open, leaving it ajar so Davin could follow. He took off his jacket and hung it by the door, then went into the kitchen to get a drink.

Tohru leaned up against the counter, taking a few sips of water. He was exhausted, but emotionally.
"Gods…" he murmured.
He let down his hair to release some of the physical tension he was feeling.

Tohru, after taking a minute to breathe, went to the bedroom to grab his bag. He sat down on one of the chairs with his sketchbook and a pencil, tapping the pencil up against his chin as he thought.

@Becfromthedead group

(Oh shoot, sorry.)
Tohru started to brush out lines over the blank page. He wasn't putting much thought into it at the moment, but he found himself making the lines form a soft male face.
It was more subconscious at first, but he was sketching Davin's likeness before he realized.

Tohru shrunk down in towards his drawing, feeling guilt well up in his chest. It had been there before, but now it was kind of spilling over. He restlessly shifted around, unhappy with the sketch, and feeling strangely fidgety.
He got up and paced into the kitchen, grabbed some water, and leaned up against the counter, trying to put in more work, but even after a few moments, he realized it wasn’t doing much but maybe making him feel closer to some sort of outburst, since Davin wasn’t there to see it.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Davin looked up when Tohru moved around. "You alright?" he called softly, running a hand through his hair and looking in the direction of the kitchen.

@Becfromthedead group

“Yeah. I’m alright. Why wouldn’t I be?” Tohru replies, trying to sound as relaxed and nonchalant as possible.
Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?
He took a few sips of water, still trying to clear his head without doing anything drastic.
