Zev cocked his head slightly. "They will know if you are armed, Thesa, and then you would get into trouble. I…would not like that to happen." he said slowly, looking at her.

@gracehustle

"I feel bare without my knives though, and I won't be able to defend myself," She protested as she bent down and pulled her knives from her boots. Thesa scowled at him and tossed them onto her bed, shaking her head, "Better, wire head?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev blinked slowly at the nickname, but nodded. "You will not likely need to defend yourself, unless you instigate a fight. And even then, you would not need to put up a fight for long."

@gracehustle

"I'm boarding a ship I know nothing about in the least and you throw the word 'likely' before telling me I won't have to defend myself? I don't like those odds." She pointed out, heading to the door of her ship anyway and letting her hand hover over the button to open the doors. "Are you ready to go, Zev?"

@ElderGod-Icefire

"I was only being truthful. Would you like the full odds?" He replied as he followed her. "If they would make you feel better, I am sure I can come up with them."

@gracehustle

Thesa shook her head, "Nope, I don't need to get more anxious than I already am." She opened the door and stepped out of her ship, looking around carefully and keeping her wits about her as she studied the first part of the ship she had seen beside the outside of the ship.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded slightly, following her into the other ship. The walls were sleek and covered with a light paneling, the floor a muted gray tone.

@gracehustle

"Is there anyone here?" She asked him, falling back to walk side by side with him and messing with the fabric of her shirt since she didn't have her weapons with her to comfort her.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Someone came around the corner, and cocked their head. "Ah, you're here!" the person was a man, in his middle-age, with a frank, friendly face. "Good. Come with me."

@gracehustle

Thesa was wary of the guy, scowling at him even if he had done nothing but been polite. "You're human, right?" She asked, though followed him after looking over at Zev for reassurance that she wasn't being stupid following him.

@ElderGod-Icefire

The man blinked at her, looking confused. "Of…course." he said slowly. "I'm not an android." he led them down the hallways.
Zev followed the man without a question, hands by his sides.

@gracehustle

She nodded, apologizing quickly, "Sorry, just nervous I guess. Where are you leading us anyway?" She admired the ship as she followed, also finding points to mark in her memory to help her find her way back to the ship if need be.

@gracehustle

"We're meeting Alexei right now?" She asked, her eyes widening as she realized her childhood hero was going to be in front of her sooner than she had ever thought.

@gracehustle

Thesa didn't realize she was holding her breath as he knocked on the closed door, nervous as to what she would say to Alexei when they finally met.

@ElderGod-Icefire

The door was opened after a moment by someone who was obviously an Android, with black eyes and a blank expression. "Right this way."
They followed the android.

@gracehustle

She let her breath out in a hidden but disappointed sigh that they still had further to go. What was the point of a door if they had to walk further? Thesa wanted to know that as much as anyone else.

@ElderGod-Icefire

They were led over to a separate room, a study, by the look of it, where an older man was seated behind a desk. When he looked up, it was Alexei, though his face was wrinkle-lined and old. He smiled when he spotted them, waving a hand to dismiss the human that had accompanied them.

@gracehustle

Thesa offered a tiny but gentle smile at the man, sure within a second, it was Alexei. She wanted to say something but knew it would most likely end with her stumbling over words and so she kept her mouth shut.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Alexei looked at Zev for a long moment, then over at her. He stood up after a moment, circling the desk to examine Zev a little closer, then finally looked at her again. "So you found him." he said. There was no hint of judgement in his voice, just simple fact.
