He nodded a little bit. "Hm. Alright."
He nodded a little bit. "Hm. Alright."
Thesa didn't speak up, figuring that he would start talking if he wanted to talk to her. Instead she stayed quiet, looking around and admiring the sky.
Zev finished up. "There are no holes that would cause issue." He said, going back over to her.
She nodded, looking up at the new window and smiling slightly. They were almost off of this world, and back on their path to meeting with Alexi. "Thanks again," She said, looking over at him.
He nodded. "You are welcome." He replied, studying her for a moment.
Thesa watched him for a minute before giving him another small smile and slowly turning to go back inside.
Zev followed her inside after a moment, hands in his pockets.
There was still a lot more internal work that needed to be finished, but she was sure that could be finished quickly. "Well, what should we do now?" The question wasn't directed at anyone in particular, but as she looked around, she knew that the majority of the work could wait if the others didn't want to finish it.
Zev shrugged his shoulders slightly, hands still in his pockets. He was trying to behave as human as possible.
She sighed and thought for a minute, shrugging and looking around for her tools again. "Thesa, I think we're going to head out," Harlin called, scooping up Teagan and walking over to the pair of them.
She nodded and looked up, smiling gently and waving to Harlin, "Alright then, see you guys, but first, one hug."
Zev waved to the two. "Good bye." He said simply. He ran a hand through his hair.
She wrapped both of them in a tight hug and talked for a minute, leading them to the door of the ship and waving goodbye as they left. It was most likely the last time she would be seeing them until she got Zev back and had another shipment to pick up. "Well, what to do now?" She asked, closing the door and walking back to him.
Zev merely blinked at her. "I do not know." he replied, shaking his head slightly. "What would you like to do? Or what needs to be done?"
"Well, I would like to get back up into space, but there are a few fixes on the engine that need to be finished first, as well as a final check over everything." She said, thinking and knowing most of the other fixes were ones to make the ship look better and could be put off for a while.
Zev nodded a little bit. "Understood. What would you like me to do, then?"
Thesa shrugged, glancing at a small cut on the back on her hand and trying to decide what she was going to do, "Whatever you want, as long as you're not breaking anything."
Zev nodded again. "Alright." He replied, looking around the room.
(Do you want to skip to when they finally get back out on their path or at least are leaving the planet?)
(sure. Want me to do it, or do you want to?)
(I can)
"Finished back there Zev?" She shouted, plopping into the pilot's seat and flicking dials and switches. This was when they would see if their fixes would actually work, and as she listened for the engines to kick in, she really hoped Zev was done back there and wasn't trying to work on the now fired up and working engines.
"Yes." was Zev's simple reply as he came forward again, sitting down near her and looking out the window, then over at Thesa.
She let out a whoop of joy as the ship finally lifted off the ground, without making any worrying noises. "Yes!" She waved jokingly to the ground below and looked over at Zev, just hovering, "Anything else you need before we leave?"
Zev blinked slowly. "No. I should be fine." he replied, looking out the window. "Unless you think there is something we need?"
"I don't think there's anything else we need." She said, shaking her head and focusing on flying the ship even though it was second nature by now.
He nodded. "Alright. Then…shall we meet with Alexi?"
