Thesa nodded, excited as she set the course to where they were supposed to meet. Soon she would be meeting with her childhood idol and she couldn't wait.
Thesa nodded, excited as she set the course to where they were supposed to meet. Soon she would be meeting with her childhood idol and she couldn't wait.
Zev watched out the window as they left atmosphere, his head cocked slightly.
"Has there been any changes in where we're meeting him?" She asked, leaning back in her chair and letting the ship head on a straight course away from the planet.
Zev shook his head. "There have not. The plans remain the same." He replied simply, looking over at her.
Thesa nodded, "Sounds good, tell me if they change alright?" She messed with a few more buttons and flicked a lone switch before standing up and sighing, happy to find that the gravity in her ship was working.
Zev nodded. "I will. Why wouldn't i? Not telling you would just be stupid." he cocked his head slightly as he looked at her.
"I just wanted to be sure." She explained, looking out of the main window at the inky view and the stars dotting it. It was gorgeous and Thesa liked how familiar the view was, mostly because it meant they were back in space, a place that she was both terrified of and in awe of.
Zev nodded slightly. "Ah. Of course." He replied, looking out the window. He was feeling… something, in anticipation of seeing Alexei again.
"Do you mind watching the controls for a minute? I have to go find something," Thesa asked, jabbing her thumb back towards the rest of the ship. She knew he probably wouldn't mind, but she wanted to make sure and give him a choice anyway.
Zev nodded again. "Of course." he replied, sitting up, ready to take the controls if necessary.
She nodded in thanks and headed into the back, pausing in place briefly as she forgot what she had come to grab before remembering and searching around the room for it. The thing she was looking for was just a book, plus she had come to turn on the music throughout the ship again if she could ever find her book. She searched for a few minutes, finding nothing and frowning.
Zev watched the controls, careful to make sure the ship wasn't about to hit or run into anything.
Thesa finally spotted her book after rummaging around the room for a few more minutes and she smiled, scooping it up before turning back to join Zev back in the main cockpit.
Zev looked over when she came in. "Oh. Hello." he greeted with a quick smile.
"Hi, how's the piloting going?" She asked, returning a small smile of her own as she sat back in her seat and opened up her book to one dog-eared page out of many.
He shrugged. "Fine. There were no difficulties. Would you like me to remain in control so you can read?"
Thesa shrugged, "If you want to that works." She pulled her legs up and sat crisscrossed in her seat, though after a minute switched to hanging one leg over the side of her chair even though she knew it was considered very unladylike.
Zev nodded slightly. "Alright." He replied. He continued to watch out the front window, head cocked slightly to one side.
She was quiet as she flipped through the pages, only bouncing her foot in the air as she read. Thesa trusted his skills and wasn't worried about the driving at all, especially since she was right there if anything at all started to go wrong.
Zev glanced over when she bounced her foot, observing her movements for a moment before turning back to the front.
"Are you excited to get to see Alexi again?" She asked, pausing in the middle of her book and looking up at him.
Zev blinked at the question, cocking his head slightly and considering it. "I…am not sure how to answer that." he replied. "I don't feel excitement."
Thesa sighed and rolled her eyes, burying her nose back in her book, "You not having emotions makes conversation very difficult, you know that right?" She looked up at him over the pages and watched him for a moment, not in the mood to read anymore.
He cocked his head again. "Ah. Right. I didn't think of that." he replied slowly, looking at her. "My apologies. Would you like me to fake them?"
"You don't need to fake them…just humor me at least. Say the answer you figure someone would most likely respond with if they were in your situation," She decided, closing her book and setting it down alongside her chair, "I can find other things to discuss otherwise if you don't want to do that, there have to be things to talk about without having emotion, feelings, or preferences."
(XD sure Thesa…good luck with that)
