Tolly rolled his eyes with a fond smile, grabbing a box of pheonix ash and heading to the 'p' section. "I might've also done it because I like you."
Tolly rolled his eyes with a fond smile, grabbing a box of pheonix ash and heading to the 'p' section. "I might've also done it because I like you."
"might've? Wow," Cas teased, heading back to the storage space and grabbing another box
Tolly stuck out his tongue at Cas, also returning to the storage room to grab a box. "You're so mean to me, Cas. Maybe I'll take it back and we won't cuddle at all."
"and who would that me more of a punishment for, me or you?" He asked with a glance, putting away the jars
Tolly sighed, starting to stock his own section of the store. "Probably me, but I still have to make a stand! "
He laughed lightly "fine I'll stop. But only if I can help it,"
Tolly laughed as well, finishing with the box and going back for a new one. "Well thank you, then. I'm glad you'll put your best efforts into keeping me happy."
"of course," Cas reasured, heading to the front to help customer who walked in
Tolly perked up curiously but decided to let Cas deal with the customer. He obviously knew what he was doing. "What do you need?" he asked Cas, ready to grab ingredients from around the store to help out.
"some honey comb and rosemary sprigs. Along with the mixed spice tea bag. Should be in the remedies section." He called, ringing up the request and instructing the customer on how to use each item for their sickness
Tolly nodded, jogging over to the remedies section and grabbing the ingredients. He found a stash of bags right below the checkout counter and packed them up, handing the bag over to the customer. "Have a nice day!"
Cas waved to the customer "get well soon!" He called as they headed out. They waved back and headed out
"What was wrong with them? Like… why were they buying all those healing herbs?" Tolly asked, watching them walk down the road outside the shop.
"they were throwing up and experiencing hot flashes." He explained "I'm not really sure what it was but I just gave them what I thought would relieve the symptoms."
"You know how to give people herbs as medicine?" He asked, looking at Cas with interest. "That's so cool!"
"yes but not the drug kind like canibis. More of the healing and actually helping helping kind." He clarified with a smile
Tolly shot him a confused frown. "I didn't think you were a drug dealer or anything, Hon. I just wanted you to know that I think what you do is… cool, I guess."
He tilted his head "well that's a first. Most people think I seek drugs. No one's ever invested any interest in what I actually do." He admitted
"But what you do is so neat!" Tolly said, confused. "Why would anyone think you're a drug dealer?"
Cas shrugged "not everyone is as facinated with my job as you are. Most just assume I'm the son of two crazy magic weilders that sold everything and anything. Which is partly true, but we don't sell drugs."
"Then most people are stupid!" Tolly exclaimed, walking over to Cas and wrapping an arm across his shoulders protectively. "I think this place is wonderful."
Cas smiled and Leaned into Tolly "that makes two of us. Mom had always wanted a small shop to sell her home grown herbs, roots and ingredients. Dad baught this store on their 15th anneversery when I turned 10." He said, a nostalgic smile spreading across his face "I was in on the secret, dad had this amazing expression the whole time we drove mom here, so excited to make her happy. She was begging him to tell her where we were going but everytime she tried to pry, he started singing her favorite song."
Tolly cooed at the adorable memory, squishing his cheek up against Cas' with a wide smile. "That's adorable! I bet the look on her face when she saw the store was amazing!"
He nodded and laughed "yeah, it was. She kept glancing back at him, to me then back at the store in disbelief and instead of running to see the store, she ran to my dad and me and hugged us tight."
"Oh my god, that's the best thing ever!" Tolly said, imagining the scene. "You must have so many great memories in this place!"
