"Says me." She stuck her tongue out at him.
"Says me." She stuck her tongue out at him.
"you don't count. It has to people who know you." Corbin said with a wave of his hand
"Meany." She grinned at him. She didn't seem to notice that she wasn't falling over.
"call me whatever you want, dear, but must I remind you," he held up bothis hands and skated away "you're doing this on your own."
"I am?" She glanced down and realized that he was right. She squealed in excitement.
He laughed softly "now try skating over to me,"
She hesitantly rolled towards him, slowly. Very slowly. She managed to get to him before tripping over her own feet. "So the key is for me to not pay attention."
He tilted his and nodded "basically, yeah. Find anything that'll distract you from skating and you'll do fine."
She shrugged. "What should I think about instead?"
corbin shrugged "I don't know, but whatever it is, keep going cuz it seems to be working." he skated off a few feet, the shadows of the rink outlining his sharp features
"No, don't go!" She called with a laugh. She tried to roll after him, and fell. She stood and tried again.
He glanced back and smiled "what? Leave you? Never." He rolled over to her and offered her his hand
“I’m okay,” she said, grinning up at him with her sunny smile.
"you're mom's going to kill me if she sees any bruises." Corbin laughed, helping her up
“She won’t find out that I was with you,” she promised.
"aw, you're willing to keep this a secret just for me?" He teased, though it truely touched him that she would do that for him
She hit him again. “No. I just don’t want you to get hurt.”
"aaawwww!" Corbin laughed "your just making it worse for yourself."
“You’re an arse,” she said fondly.
He smiled and raised an eyebrow "oooh now we're getting creative with the isults.
Sarah glared mockingly at him. “You’re mean, you know that?”
He shrugged and grinned "I know." He pulled her to him "but you love it, don't you?"
“I do.” She brushed her hair from her face.
"The why do you complain so much?" He teased lightly, dropping his voice "hm?"
“Because it’s my job.” She grinned at him. “You’re the smoldering, good looking guy, and I’m the complaining, whiny girl.”
