Corbin sighed "No, for the last time…you're not allowed to go up there." He explained to the child.
"But my mommy's up there and I want to see her." He whined
It broke his heart that he had to be the one to tell the poor child no "I'm sorry Darren. But you won't be able to see her."
Sarah walked down the street, humming slightly. She blew a bubble of bubblegum and brushed her hair from her face.
Corbin sighed, finally finishing the whole ordeal with the child after an hour and headed out. He need something to do, anything. He shifted to a mortal being and headed to the surface
Sarah smiled as she spotted a flower. The poor thing was dying. She bent over it and gently touched the blossom, and it glowed slightly before blooming brightly. Pleased with her work, she continued walking.
Making his way out of bar the portal was in, Corbin pulled his leather jacket on and ran a hand through his dark black hair. He kept his eyes down until they changed to Amber
Sarah didn’t notice the new arrival. She was too busy watching some children play to see.
Corbin watched a bunch of kids playing about, thinking of Darren and frowning. One of the kids balls was kicked his way, a little girl running after it. Corbin crouched down and handed her the ball back
"Thank mister!" She called, running off with a laugh
Sarah grinned. “That was nice of you.”
"did you expect anything different?" Corbin asked smoothly, glancing up at the woman in front of him "I see you haven't changed." He smiled softly
Sarah blinked, finally recognizing him. She smiled slightly. “I hope not,” she said.
"for whose sake? Mine or the others." He asked with a small smile, raising his hands to the sky "it's good to see you Sarah."
“Mine,” she said, smirking a bit. “Hello, Corbin. It’s been a while.” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
"it has indeed." He replied, eyes flittering in the sunlight, showing his natural color of eyes. "How's life in olympus?"
