He crouched beside her and chuckled "come on, back up on your feet," he held both her hands and pulled her up

“This is never going to work,” she said, laughing slightly.

"it will." Corbin reasured, pulling her close to his chest and wrapping his arms around her waist for support

Sarah grumbled, even as her face reddened. “How are you so good at everything?” She asked.

He glanced down at her "I'm not good at many things, this however, is one. Practice."

She stuck her to give out at him. “But that takes too long.”

He laughed lightly "but it helps, doesn't it?" He asked, slowly pulling away from her "see?"

“I’m gonna die!” She laughed, clutching at him.

"ok, ok! Maybe not just yet." He chuckled and held her against him "it's ok."

“No it’s not,” she said, amusement in her tone. “You left me.”

"I know, and for that I'm deeply sorry about. I promise to never leave you again." He held her close, truely wishing he could make the words a reality

“I was joking,” she muttered. “But I forgive you.”

"how? When I've committed so many mistakes." He muttered, not talking about skating anymore

"Because you're you. And I know you. I know that deep down, you mean well, and that you didn't mean it."

He glanced down at her "they knew me too, but they still chose to send me down there."

"But they're your brothers," she said with an eye roll. "Of course they're going to be a jerk to you."

"Well, Zeusy got himself into a bit of trouble with Nyx," Sarah said, grinning. "And so, you know, he's in trouble, and Hera's not helping him. And Poseidon is being a baby."

He laughed softly and shook his head "so nothing new at all." He concluded.

"Nope," she said.

"how's Demeter? Still ticked off about the flowers I killed?" He asked

"Yeah…" she said. "You should probably not come for another century or so, just to be sure."

"over some dead flowers?! Oh my gods…you're mom.loves to hold grudges, doesn't she?" He laughed "well then, she's going to be furious when she's found out I've stolen her most precious flower for the day and taught her how to roller skate."

Sarah laughed and hit him. "I'm not a flower." She grinned, blushing slightly.

"says who?" He asked with a boyish grin
