@Oakiin

Two things:
Characters whose arcs aren't them getting better/realizing something, but actually falling into their flaws, and if they're main charas, dragging the reader along with them
Also
Stories where it's told from the antags point of view, and you don't know it until the end. Stories where the main isn't the hero, and maybe even fails and loses everything in the end. Or that can happen to a hero as well…

Some writing, I'm like slurp slorp, give me all your words. I want to inject this into my kneecaps
Other writing, I'm like jesus how long do I have to read this for???
Make my mind and kneecaps thirsty for your words

Addar is written from many perspectives. Two of which are the antagonist's; one in the past and one in the present.

I have recently birthed a story where the protagonist is the only POV but he's not the "Protagonist of the Story", if you will. He's important to the story and has his own power but he's not the '''''Chosen One''''''.

Like–if Harry Potter were told by Ron's point of view.

Interesting! That sounds like something I can get behind

Yeah I think the different storylines are pretty awesome.
The ones I definitely have are Lord Addar, Kaiman Kiyaridari (past), Krisano Adiachi, Yarri Undama (past).
I might have Aya Sannami, Firefly (past) and Jayla Torez. But I'm not sure about them.

I don't know if this is just me but I read lots of books where the characters always have super tight, close relationships with their siblings. I'd like to see characters that have terrible relationships with their siblings sometimes

Because honestly, sometimes my sister is a bitch. And so am I.

I'm up for any sort of representation! Especially muslim women that are not just defined by being muslim…that's just a personal thing haha. Also that good good LGBTQ and Ace rep! I'd love to see some Ace rep!!

Oh also! Main characters that are not blank slates and boring. I understand a lot of YA books do that to allow teens to insert themselves into the narrative, but man some of these MCs literally do not have any interests. Sorry Bella Swan i'm tearing you apart. I think MCs with a job or even an extracurricular like running a club or playing an instrument or even sports! Idk, just a thought?

Well forgive me for being contrary, but anyone who really practices a faith finds it central to their lives. I am a not very good Christian and I would be lying if I said it doesn't strongly influence every aspect of my life.

Also I would love some more ace rep. But like any good rep, I want it casual.

I really get that. And would you have any advice for a character that is very busy? I have no idea what she would do in her downtime since she rarely has any. But I think it's really important that I know.

P.S. Are you Saudi? I am a halfie so I'm exited to see others.

In a story where there is political intrigue–it would be nice for the characters to be in the thick of it.

And not: "The King is evil we need to destroy him"

Something like: Factions. (Not like Divergent–like actual political factions. Or even a rift between the religious leaders and political leaders.

like just intrigue where no one is evil they just think differently

my newest story has so much despite it being mainly about magic–the entire second and third novel revolve arouns political intrigue that gears up to the big bad later on.

I die for that kind of development.

@Yamatsu

I think most of my favorite bits of political intrigue are based on shit like the South Sea Bubble and other crazy events in the Victorian Era where politicians and everyone tangentially involved with Parliament were out to fuck each other over.
