Not really, the closest I've seen is obsession with abs/dicks.

in all honesty i'm tired of Hotte GuysTM who smirk every five seconds and expect ppl to swoon over them like get tf outta here w your cardboard-looking set of abs

@HighPockets group

Yeah those suck. Why does every guy need an 8 pack? I have scrawny guys, short guys, lean guys, lanky guys, muscular guys, etc. and a lot of them have love interests.

yeah!!!!!! like i'm attracted to dudes and i was in a track & field thing today and i was literally surrounded by tall muscly dudes in tank tops and i wasn't swooning at all or even mildly flustered, all i did was kinda look at their arms and be like "that is a really nice aesthetic i wanna draw that." and my s/o is a cute puppy dog-eyed tall trans twink, where the fuck are those guys in the media????

@HighPockets group

Honestly I have more tall, slim, and very awkward and easily flustered guys than stereotypically 'hot' ones. In fact if I remember correctly Oliver Warren and maybe Darius Scott are the only two guys who are stereotypically 'hot'.

I have never related more in my entire life

@hollow-boned

the only important men in my wlw story so far are
-the one(1) male friend of the group and he's a big dumbass and he's indian (it's not a thing in my world but just as a reference) w big eyes and curly hair and he's more submissive to his Cool Distinguished Jeweler girlfriend
-the sociopathic prince who is in an arranged betrothal to one of my main girls, and he's kinda stereotipically hot ig but not in a muscly way, more in a tall pale and sharp way. he dies
-the middle-aged father of my other girl who has to be broken out of prison by my girls
-that's it

@HighPockets group

My boys are:
Twyllo-

  • Stoic, calm, collected General Oliver Warren.
  • Compassionate disaster bisexual Jon Revis
  • Ansel Beauregard, the 12 year old streetsweeper
  • Samuel Shafton, the awkward, easily flustered nerd
  • Nich Fox, the charismatic aromantic sarcastic con artist
  • Darius Scott, the arrogant but good deep down rich boy
  • Marcus Revis, Jon's uncle who keeps the rebels in line
  • James Cole, one of the main villain's lackeys

Ehre:

  • Huxley Descant, the quiet and apathetic kind-of pirate
  • Carl Loder, who has the brains of Costanza and the ego of Vizzini
  • Lysander Dumont, an overeager guard-in-training who wants to impress his mentor
  • Asher Roan, the regal and stoic friend of the MC
  • Rowan [Still needs a surname], a brutal and cutthroat guard who doesn't hesitate to beat the much younger Lysander in a fight

Creston:

  • Jayson Brecker, whose sister runs a crime family he wants no part in. Shy and nervous.
  • andrew (Our Supreme Lord and Overseer) Robertson, a tired and anxious guy who has 2 jobs but needs 1 good night of sleep
  • Stephen Erikson, who tries his best to see charismatic and suave, but is not as confident as he seems

Fae:

  • Oleander, the main villain and a manipulative, dramatic prick
  • Lucas of Galantaea Hill, a bastard orphan who wants to know his past and protect his loved ones
  • King Iam of the Spring Court, a sweet and enthusiastic young king who is inexperienced politically but he just wants to help everyone, let him be happy
  • Cedar, who acts like he doesn't gaf but he gives many
  • King Aspen of the Autumn Court, who just wants to keep the memory of his favorite mortal alive by protecting her son

  • Claudio Jones, who lacks common sense but has some empathy
  • Joe Prince, who needs a nap and some nice tea so he can calm tf down
  • Barry Woolsworth, who is enthusiastic and inexperienced wannabe private eye
  • Jackson Gavel, an actual private eye/Shakespearean actor who is the mom friend and the eldest sibling friend at the same time, has like 0 self preservation instinct, generally pretty chill
  • Theodore Lowe, a shy and quiet (until you get to know him) stage manager who 100% believes in cyptids
  • Maxwell Darby, an awkward and nervous assistant to Roge Sr.
  • Charles Roge Sr., a conniving and manipulative scumbag
  • Charlie Roge, Jr., a guy who just wants to be happy but can't seem to get out from under his father's thumb
  • Henry Harrison, a summertime baseball playing and very enthusiastic guy. Generally nice, but God help you if you manage to piss him off
  • Victor Grant, an awkward but very intelligent college student who just wants to be able to study chemistry in peace. Had shitty parents, just let him be happy please.

@Starfast group

Oh, are we just listing off all our male characters? I have some of those.

Project 1:

  • Crispin: I like to compare him to a chihuahua because he's tiny and wants to fight everyone. Former pirate who needs to chill out.
  • Kit: Crown prince of his kingdom. He's really oblivious which tends to land him in trouble a lot. Doesn't know how to handle an insult.
  • Caleb: A chimney sweep who would rather be doing anything but sweeping chimneys. Daydreams a lot to help him cope with the terrible hand of cards he's been dealt.
  • Gerard: A paranoid healer with a tragic backstory that he refuses to speak about, but simultaneously can't stop talking about.
  • Matthew: Kit's father. Weirdly reclusive and antisocial. Kind of known for being a really private individual, which sometimes rubs people the wrong way, but does a good job at running the kingdom.

Project 2:

  • Dallas: A high school senior who just wants to live a normal, peaceful life but keeps getting dragged into all these weird situations.
  • Andor: Aspiring comic book artist who makes questionable decisions on a daily basis. Doesn't think before he does anyone. An absolute mess.
  • Ara: A med student with a tendency to be really condescending and sarcastic. Kind of a jerk, despite his heart usually being in the right place. Drinks way too much coffee.

Project 3:

  • Milo: Just wants everyone to like him despite the fact that he's known to be manipulative and untrustworthy. Still is narcissistic enough to think that people like him anyways.
  • Garzlan: A carpenter who's just trying his best. Really passive Mom Friend who tends to trust way to easily (So the fact that he's friends with Milo is… not that great).
    (I have some other male character from this project, but they're not really fleshed out yet).

(I have a 4th project, but it's super under construction. There's 4 male characters from that one).
