Manic Pixie Dream Girl: Hyper, enthusiastic female character who is only there to be the love interest. Same with Manic Pixie Dream Boy, except then the character is a boy. They generally are idealized versions of themselves (aka the MC sees what they want to see, not how the character is) https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ManicPixieDreamGirl
Goth Pixie Dream Girl: Same thing, but the character is 'edgy' or 'dark' instead of hyperactive. Think of all of the clones of Wyldestyle/Lucy from The Lego Movie that have come out since 2014. Usually wear all black and have black hair but with dyed streaks, they're sarcastic and have a 'dark past'.
Depressed Ogre Nightmare Man is a Tumblr joke that goes something like 'What's the opposite of Manic Pixie Dream Girl? Depressed Ogre Nightmare Man? That's me then."

Something else I'd like to see less of is what I refer to as "useless, annoying child characters." It's pretty much exactly what it sounds like. These characters are usually a main character's younger sibling, 10 or under, and bring absolutely nothing to the table except deliberately making things difficult for the other character(s). I have no problems with people writing characters with young siblings, but like maybe consider actually having them do something useful instead of just constantly doing the exact opposite of what they're told.

Ugh, I hate those!
I have a child character (well technically a lot of them are considered children because a lot of them are teens, but he's the only one who is specifically the 'tagalong kid') and he has a purpose and a personality and despite his age, he does aide the rebellion as well as he can and isn't treated as a hinderance.

I'm dying over the fact that Penny from Mr. Peabody and Sherman is on there, because she was a bully? She was horrible to him for 75% of the movie until they then decided to shoehorn in a 'romance' at the end.

I mean I know Tamaki is a fuckin weeb, but he's just so stupidly charming that you can't resist him. XD

Wow, yes. It's honestly a gigantic waste to see young characters be used just to "lighten the mood" or be cute. I find it almost ridiculous how often kids are just 2-D additions to a story with virtually no purpose nor major contribution to the actual plot. It's actually really sad, because I'm really fascinated by little kids. Have you ever taken the time to just sit down and have a chat with a kindergartener? Children are simply amazing, and they're always absorbing and learning new things. Everything is always moving with them. Let's have more stories that acknowledge that, and that also understand that kids can be powerful characters.
