I can't speak for Miriam here, but that's not quite what demisexuality is. It's not about who you bang and who you don't- it's about who you're attracted to. I heard someone describe demisexuality as "I'm asexual until I'm not." Demisexuals don't feel sexual attraction until there is a deep relationship. It's not the same as just having standards or practicing abstinence- it's not a choice to avoid sex. Demisexuals just don't feel attraction at all until there's a bond.

It's also known as gray asexuality, because it's right between sexuality and asexuality. when I'm in an actual relationship, obviously it's with someone I have a bond with and really love, so I may be sexually attracted to that person.
