I play both bass guitar and upright bass for my jazz band.

That's cool! How long did it take you to master bass guitar? I've been trying for years now and I still can't get my head around it since I play acoustic as well

• I can't sleep without a lamp or nightlight anymore. At night, it's just…worse… and the dark doesn't help at all so I keep a lamp on.
• I'm garbage honestly
• I'm learning ukulele
• I'm in choir (still can't sing tho)
• I'm like a huge space nerd and I love the stars a lot
• I seriously love the stars tho and people no longer let me ramble about them because I go on forever and drive them insane
• I'm like really gay

I was in the car with my friend in middle school, and Bruno Mars' Just the Way You Are came on the radio. She said, "God, don't you always imagine that he's singing to you? All his songs are so romantic." And I thought about this and my immediate response was, "Um, no." But then the more I thought the more I realized I didn't imagine he was singing it to me, because in my head I was imagining that I was Bruno singing to the girl. So then everything just kinda clicked into place: Crying at 6 years old when I learned that I couldn't marry Tinker Bell, the fact that I had to try not to gag when my boyfriend at the time kissed me, why I felt so awkward changing in the same room as my girl friends when none of them felt awkward at all, etc.
