Skylar sighed before standing up. She had waited a good few minutes before standing up. She looked around the corner to see if the others were far away, and when she saw they weren’t she sat down once again on the bench and sighed. To pass the time, Skylar took out her phone and randomly contacted someone on her contact list. She looked at who she contacted and groaned.

Ring Ring. Ring Ring. Ring Ring.

A woman across the country picked up her phone from her mansion and sighed. “Hello, who’s this?”

Skylar sighed before talking into the phone. Truth to be told, the person she contacted was her least favorite person. “Hello, Aunt Petunia. It’s me, Skylar.”

Aunt Petunia gasped in delight and smiled, even though she knew Skylar wouldn’t be able to see her smile. “Oh, darling! It’s so great to hear you. I haven’t seen you or heard you in decades! How have you been?”

“I’ve been great, Aunt. Maybe one day I can come over to visit you over in France. How does that sound?”

“Oh, that would be magnificent, Skylar. I want to spend some quality time and spoil you silly!”

Skylar frowned at the world spoil. Her aunt was also rich, just like her adoptive parents and she knew that Aunt Petunia didn’t know that she didn’t like to be “spoiled silly”. “Oh, that’s great. I can’t wait. Well, I have to go. I don’t want to keep my piano teacher waiting. So, good bye.”

“Good bye, dear Skylar. I’ll be looking forward to your visit.”

With that, Skylar hung up without saying anything.
