I really miss when we get to just chat, and RP and just hang out. Man I miss it.
I know you are going to be back sometime. But I still miss you.

I've made quite a few small roleplays over the past few days, and this is possibly the last one I will make until the others fade out of existence.

Convicts

They're in prison. Whether or not they really belong there is debatable. Some of them earned this fate for themselves, while some of them were framed; either way, they're here now, and their sentences are irreversible. A life of confinement, is it? Forever to be locked away, like savage animals? I suppose a few of them truly are savage animals. But what of the innocent ones? The ones who committed no wrong? They're here, too, and they can't prove their innocence. Hopelessness is all they have to cling to.
Until one day, a strange man enters the prison. He's crazy, no doubt– he must be– for he speaks to five random prisoners in secret, informing them that he works for a group of individuals who would like to have the prisoners released. A joke, is it? A test to see if the prisoners would breakout if they tried? A second chance, perhaps? The prisoners have no clue, but the man promises. He's eccentric, odd, no doubt, but could it be that his words are true? Should they expect freedom? Or is this something far worse than any of them ever signed up for…?

The setting is sometime in the future, in North America. The prisons in this role-play will be darker and worse than real-life prisons. Your character may even have a death sentence, if you like. They can be innocent or guilty. They can have been in the prison for as long as you would like, whether it be a few days, several months, or years. Normally, I would have a prisoner character, but I've learned that I do best when playing side characters, because they develop better and I feel like it's more… mmmm… enigmatic, that way. ^u^

These are the rules. Don't bother signing up if you don't read them.
  1. No power-playing, god-modding, etc. You're not the boss here; don't put yourself in that position. You have 100% control over your character, nobody else's.
  2. No OP characters. You want your guy to have martial art skills? Go for it! Want him to be great at boxing?Heck yes! Want her to be really swift and nimble? Absolutely! What them to be be skilled in like fifteen areas of fighting, be untouchable, and have like one really random, off-the-wall weakness? No. Stoppit. That's not realistic at all. You can make your character amazing and powerful without making them Superman. Just… no.
  3. No sexual content. At all. We don't need that kinda trash up in here, bro. Take it outside. Note: I encourage non-sexual intimacy and romance otherwise. I actually LOVE those kinds of things. Just don't you start getting all inappropriate about it, or else I'll be coming for you.
  4. No strong language. Resist the urge to make your character cuss up a storm, alright? ABSOLUTELY NO F WORD. EVER. I'm not gonna let that slide. If you feel the urge to use other, milder language, please consider replacing with non-curse words such as heck, darn/dang, crap, etc.
  5. MxF ships only. Please, no LGTBQ+ characters or ships. Sorry if this causes inconveniences, buuuuut, it's a rule nonetheless. Thanks for your respect. :)
  6. No out of game drama or bickering. If your characters get into a fist-fight and knock each other's teeth out, awesome. If you and the player controlling the other character start fighting over something, not awesome. Don't do that. Don't be that guy. Nobody likes that guy.
  7. No killing other people's characters without their permission. If Jimmy says don't kill his character, then don't kill Jimmy's character. If Jimmy says you can kill his character, then by golly, take Jimmy's character downnnn.
  8. Try to post often. Like once a day. If you can't do that, one every two days is also fine. I get busy sometimes too, so if you happen to accidentally miss a day or two, I'm not gonna throw you out. Just don't make it a habit.
  9. Try not to leave interested players out. If you look over and happen to see that Jimmy doesn't know what to do with his character, make your character interact with Jimmy's. Or if Jimmy is roleplaying by himself and seems lost, help him. Jimmy wants a friend. Be Jimmy's friend. Even if that requires making your character argue with Jimmy's character, it's interaction and involves Jimmy.
    Unless Jimmy is one of those weird players who never really wants to interact and their character just kinda creeps around like a freakazoid. That's weird. You can ignore Jimmy then. And maybe call the police.
  10. No demons or magic. N o p e.

Remember, blood and gore is allowed up to a PG-13 level. Keep in mind, this is not a horror roleplay. Be descriptive; don't be graphic.

If you sign up with a convict and would later like more characters, inform me and I will allow it. Convicts may be male or female. Preferably within the 18-25 age range, but it's up to you. No convicts may have unnatural abilities or powers. They may have cool skills, training, etc., but nothing like superpowers please. Ships are welcome, I encourage them strongly, but they are not required. Convicts may be here for whatever reason you decide. I will post short templates once people show interest in the RP.
