My band refers to concert week as Satan Mac Week or SMW for short

I love Satan

We legit clapped both our rival schools in state competition last weekend and it felt SO GOOD

They football game is an hour and a half away on Friday. They're getting a "spirit bus" for free for all the students and the band is still stuck with school buses. Did I say that already? I don't remember. And we're supposed to get back at midnight. Report time the next day is 7:45 am and we're not getting food until after we perform. So at two. Ugh.

I'm sad…

So our marching season is officially over (I literally cried during awards) BUT WE WON A SPOT IN A BIG BOI COMPETITION NEXT WINTER SO AHHHHHH

Don’t know how it is where y’all are but our competition season got pushed back until late fall
But we’re still having practice oof

All of our competitions got cancelled and we're only going to homecoming. And our Disney trip got pushed back a year

Yeah our trip also got pushed back a year.
But this marching season is still better than concert band tbh

MPA got cancelled for us, we only have 3 home games this marching season, and we can't leave the district just yet

Competitions were canceled for my school as well. Our Disneyland trip from this past May was canceled. We might go back to practices the 1st week of September.

I was so excited for this year, I was co-woodwind section leader with one of my best friends.
