”No, you don't.” Abby smirked crossing her arms smugly.
”Everyone alright? I heard a crash.” Toby asked concerned.

”Everyone alright? I heard a crash.” Toby asked concerned.
Nyt put up a thumbs up as she tried to catch her breath.
"Everything's fine Toby!" Caleb yelled.
Adar laid back down. "Why would you do this to me?" He asked, his ears grey.
”We’re alright, but you're a bad influence on me and Nyt, Uncle Toby.” Abby joked before looking at the boys. ”Uncle Toby took pictures of all four of us while we were asleep.”
Caleb snapped his head at Toby's direction. "What?" He asked, his voice going a bit higher than usual.
”Yep, that's what started this. And I can't wait to see how they come out.” Abby smirked with a light blush.
”Ok, calm down, Caleb. No one is going to see the pictures because no one knows how to develop the film anymore.” Toby explained. ”I just take pictures with it to remember the moments.”
Caleb covered his face with his hands, hiding his blush.
Adar groaned.
Nyt was basically rolling on the floor laughing. This was going to be a good day.
(Where do you want this to go now?)
(unfortunately, I don't have any plot ideas just a couple little things… like Abby and Nyt still haven't addressed their feelings, what happened to Abby's parents… idk )
(True. I was thinking maybe we could skip down the line to where they've started negotiating peace? Just a suggestion.)
(Sure! Do you want to set the scene? Or should I try?)
(I will but let me finish an assignment first.)
(No problem.)
Nyt shuffled in the suit she was wearing. They had just gotten out of a meeting with The Council. The Council was the Sylvians form of government. It was sort of like a Democracy except when a council member died they were replaced by a random citizen. They had asked for a day to discuss peace between the two species. Nyt plopped down in a lounge room that was outside the meeting room. There were gaurds in the room to make sure no one would try to harm the humans.
Adar messed with his tie as he sat down next to Nyt, feeling a lot more relaxed now that they were out of the meeting. ”I think that went relatively well.” Adar commented. It had gone rather well. Most of The Council seemed open to the idea but the rest were not so sure.
Caleb slipped off his mask as they walked into the room. The Sylvians still hadn't figured out what caused the air to change but they had made rooms where they could breath without their masks. Caleb couldn't of been happier because of it. It took a bit to get use to seeing his face with out it but it made him feel free.
(Sorry that I started it after the meeting. I just didn't want the whole dialogue section of arguing again.)
”It definitely went better than when we proposed this in our camp.” Abby sighed tiredly as she sat next to Nyt, her own mask also off while they were in the room. She absolutely loved being able to breathe without it. But it was an odd feeling that she was getting used to. Because of these negotiations, she had been doing a lot of speaking with it off… Explaining what that meant to the Slyvian council had been an interesting event.
Nyt nodded. "Better than 'Kill them! Put them in chains!'" She said. She stretched out a bit. "Speaking of that it's been awhile since we've seen Mark or Peter." She mused. It had been a few months since that day in the camp. They were now in the Capital, hundreds of miles away from the human camp.
”I told you I wouldn't let that happen to you guys.” Abby reminded, fiddling with her hands to keep from ’excessive touching’. ”Those two are probably up to their usual antics. Peter being a hothead and getting into some kind of trouble for it and Mark trying to bail him out.”
Caleb laughed as he set his mask on a near by table. "Probably. You know, if they are our communicators than they should probably see this next if we score peace." He suggested.
Abby nodded. ”Yeah. They probably should. Even if we just give them news of these rooms, people will go crazy with enthusiasm.” she smiled.
Caleb smiled. "They would, wouldn't they?" He asked. He looked really happy and relaxed. This was probably the most relaxed he had felt in a long time.
"We are almost there." Nyt said putting an arm around Abby. "It's been quite awhile since we first met, hasn't it?"
Abby sighed, leaning into the embrace. ”Yeah, we’ve known each other for a while now. But sometimes it feels like the blink of an eye.” she smiled. ”It'll be so nice when we can all walk down the street without fear towards each other.”
Nyt nodded and leaned into her a bit more. "It is. It is funny to see how everyone reacts to you though." She said with a smile. Whenever a Sylvian met Abby or Caleb, there reactions were to die for. They ranged from excitement to disgust, curiosity to bewilderment and confusion to understanding.
Abby laughed softly in agreement. ”I actually meant ”us” in a more general way as in humans and Slyvians but you're not wrong.” It was pretty funny but it also made her feel a bit uncomfortable and like she was something strange.
Nyt chuckled. "I know. It doesn't feel like long for either." She said, smiling softly.
A guard walked into the room. "I'm supposed too walk you back to your rooms." He said.
Abby returned the smile before turning to the guard. ”Thank you, sir.” she replied, nodding politely as she stood up. ”I’m still not used to being treated like I’m this important.” she whispered to Nyt before she placed the mask back on.
They all stood up and followed the gaurd. "I figured." She whispered. "You get flustered a lot more here than you do at camp."
