Nyt's first instinct was to hiss and her tail sprang up, almost looking like a scopion tail ready to strike. She recignized it as a human but this one looked a lot more theatening than Abby or Caleb looked.
Mark stood up to run to Abby. "Abby!" He yelled.
Abby yelped at both the crash in the other room and her name being called. ”What the… Mark? What are you doing here? What's going on?”
Peter ran towards the Alien, machete poised for another swing.
"We're here to get you out of here and kill that thing." He said grabbing her arm.
Nyt jumped out of the way and swept her tail under him, knocking him off his feet
”Wait! What?!? Hey! Let me go!” Abby fought back.
Peter growled jumping back up, swinging his weapon again.
"Abby! What are you doing? We need to get out of here while Peter kills it." Mark said, pulling her along.
Nyt jumped back again as the machete hit her arm, causing her to hiss in pain. She swung her tail at him again, this time wrapping around his foot and pulling him forward.
”Peter’s here? Wait! KILL IT!!!” Abby's eyes widened in terror. ”Oh no. NYT!!!!” She kicked at Mark, hoping to break free. She had to get to Nyt!
Peter gave a shout of shock as his feet flew out from under him, wasting no time getting back up.
"Sh*t!" Mark cursed as Abby kicked him. "Calm down! What are you doing?" He asked still dragging her.
Nyt's tail shot toward Peter again but this time it wrapped around his neck, before lifting him off the ground.
”NO!!! LET ME GO!!” Abby shrieked throwing a punch at his stomach, hoping to wind him enough of let go of her.
Peter grabbed the appendage trying to loosen its grip. Even with a mask on it wasn't easy to breathe with a constricted airway.
Nyt tightened her grip before hearing Andy scream. She ran, dragging Peter behind her to get to Abby.
Mark doubled over when Abby punched him in the gut, groaning.
Taking advantage of Mark’s distraction, Abby ripped her arm out of his grip and ran for Nyt.
Peter had dropped his machete when his captor started running.
Nyt ran to Abby and picked her up. "Abby! Are you alright?" She asked looking her over. Peter was still being dragged by her.
Mark looked up at Abby and Nyt. "What the hell?" He muttered.
Abby hugged Nyt in relief, completely ignoring the other humans at the moment, ”Oh, thank God. You're ok. You're ok.” She was almost crying.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! It's okay! I'm alright." Nyt said stroking Abby's head. It was at that point that Nyt realized that she was still holding on to Peter. She flung him at Mark.
Mark was just beginning to stand back up when he was knocked over by Peter. He groaned lying on the floor.
Peter was already pretty dazed before Nyt threw him but by the time he hit Mark, he was out cold.
”He said he was going to kill you.” Abby whispered. ”I’m sorry. I should have told Caleb not to mention you at all. No Aliens nearby. I shouldn't have even come here.” she sobbed.
"I'm fine, Abby. Just a little cut. Are you alright?" Nyt asked, looking over her. Now that her tail was free she used it to hold Abby up.
"Abby. What are you doing?" Mark muttered, his head pounding.
”I’m alright, Nyt. I'm not hurt.” Abby promised, stroking Nyt’s ear to reassure her. ”You’re the one that's bleeding.”
Nyt leaned into the stroking. "It doesn't hurt that much." She said, as grey blood seeped out of the wound.
Abby gave a slightly sad chuckle. ”My turn to take care of you, now I guess.”
"I'm fine." Nyt protested but you could tell she was in pain.
(What do we do with Mark and Peter?)
Abby gave a knowing smirk, ”Just like my leg is completely healed, yet you still carry me everywhere.” She smiled a bit sadly. ”You should probably put me down, so we can explain to these two.”
Peter was just starting to regain consciousness.
Nyt sighed and put her down but still had her tail wrapped partially around her.
Mark groaned again. "Get off me, Peter." Mark growled.
Peter groaned before coughing a bit, holding his throat. ”Damn beast was choking me.” He muttered rolling off of Mark.
Abby smiled at the gesture, letting Nyt make sure that her little teddy bear was still safe. ”Mark, Peter. I need you to stay calm and listen to me.”
"You deserved it," Nyt growled slightly and pulling Abby closer to her.
Mark sat up. "Why are you siding with that thing?" Mark asked, disgusted.
Abby glared at Mark. ”First off; Her name is Nyt and you are currently in her home so a little respect wouldn't be out of line.” She softened her expression. ”And second, she's my friend. She’s not dangerous, Mark.”
Peter gave a hoarse laugh, ”That monster tried to kill me, Abby. I’d call that pretty dangerous.”
"Well, I'm sorry that you stabbed me!" Nyt growled.
"Abby. They tried to wipe us out. They are dangerous." Mark said. "What did you breath that made you think that it was a good idea to be around an Alien?"
