"No, I don't, all I can suggest is a few hours of rest and a meal," Hosea looked at Danny for a moment then turned back to the dark elf. "What's you're name little miss?"
"No, I don't, all I can suggest is a few hours of rest and a meal," Hosea looked at Danny for a moment then turned back to the dark elf. "What's you're name little miss?"
She rolled her eyes at Hosea “Nida if you must know”
Boris was curious and followed Jameson as he hadn't gotten any reply from him. Though didn't interfere with any of what he was doing. He only watched from afar, keeping a fair distance between them. Luckily, his carriage was near, though was hidden.
"Nida?" Hosea gave a short node and turned to leave again. "Nice to meet you, I would get out of this town before the people here decide you're a threat just like they decided I was a threat." He turned to Danny and grabbed his arm to help him walk as he continued heading through the town.
“Is it okay if I stick with you two?” She knew being found alone was going to get killed
“Woah man!” He says, shrugging off Hosea’s hand. “I’m not that weak. I’m just… magically weak, if that makes sense. I can walk on my own, it’s just easier with the Scythe walking stick.”
He turns to Nida. “I don’t mind if you come along. I’m Danny by the way.”
Hosea suddenly looked up and out of the city. He was looking into the shadows of the forest near then, something had caught his attention. And then in an instant he was gone. Obviously having used his time manipulation to disappear.
“Ahh so he is a magic user like you.” She said in a slightly shocked tone mainly because of the power he has
“Yeah, uh he does that sometimes. He has time manipulation, weird to think of since from his perspective…” He trailed off and grinned. Then he shook it off and turned back to Nida.
“I would see were he went, but teleportation would be too much at the moment. I think I could manage invisibility at this point but I don’t want to test it.”
“Yeah over using magic never ends well.”she watched the woods to see what Hosea saw before
As the Jameson felt the cold barrel of Guinevere's gun press into his back, his hands shot up in the universal "don't shoot me" gesture.
"Please!" he begged. "I'm just trying to save the dogs and get out of here! The Master never worried about collateral damage so long as he got his rocks off!"
"You stabbed me!" Guinevere replied. "What makes you think I would let you go after trying to kill me?!"
"Oh, and so you expect me to turn on my boss die for disobeying him? That happened before, and the previous servants never made it out of this mansion alive!"
Guinevere gave a resigned sigh and lowered her gun. "Listen, just get the dogs and get out of here. I never want to see your ugly mug ever again."
Boris eavesdropped on the conversation, trying his best to keep himself hidden from both of them. He, in his head, tried to figure out what was going on between Jameson and Guinevere.
“Just do as she says and you should be fine” Asawin added from behind Guinvenere.
“So… where’re we going now again?” He asked the woman as he, truthfully, had nowhere to go for the time being.
The huntress whipped around, startled by her eavesdropping companions.
“When’d you get here?! You didn’t see me run in, did you?”
“Eh no? I just kinda got lost when you left and sensed you with these” he gestured to his metallic wings which vibrate softly to sound waves.
Boris showed himself after a while, cutting into their conversation. He walked out of the forest onto the road. He looked down at both of them
Jameson turned to Guinevere, confused about her comment on running in when no one saw her, when he realized the shirt she was wearing looked familiar.
“Did… did you raid my wardrobe?” he asked.
“Listen, just because I’m fireproof doesn’t mean that what I have on me is,” she answered, pulling down on the suit coat she wore. It was a few inches shorter than she would have liked, but the sleeves weren’t bad. “Besides, you’re probably the only person in town with clothes that can almost fit me.”
Since Guinvenere was most likely not going to talk to him for a while, Asawin turned his attention to the newcomer.
“You there—“ he raised his chin a little “—what’s your name buddy?”
"Boris, Boris Tenaviev" He said without as he strap his shield onto his back and kept the flail on his belt. He held his hand out for a handshake, and it seems he has no hesitation at all.
Asa reached out to take his hand. He gripped it relatively tightly.
“Asawin Nirankarn, pleasure to meet cha” the knight nodded with a friendly smile.
“Why are you here anyway?”
"I'm a mercenary, an adventurer from the northern part" Boris had a very thick accent which made it hard to understand what he was saying. He released his grip from Asawin's hand and lowered his bandana.
“Oh, a mercenary? That’s nice” Asa commented, looking around for something to do.
“You got anything planned for your travels? Maybe killing one or two people along the way?”
Boris laughed hearing Asa mention killing people, his tone very deep. "Not really, except I managed to get a quest to take someone down". Suddenly, a carriage appeared, though with out anything to pull it. "Ah, seems like my spell has worn off"
“Alright alright, before anything—“ Asa raised his index finger “—where the hell did that thing come from?!” he pointed to the carriage in pure confusion.
“What kind of wizardry is this?”
Hosea suddenly appeared again, right next to Nida and Danny. "Come on, we need to get back to the barn," he sounded slightly in a rush, and almost… out of breath.
