"Or you could do the simple thing and you could get out while I let them find me and then I get out," Hosea rolled his eye. "Or Asa could stay and do that, or any of us except Danny here. You all think to hard, sometimes you need to just do something crazy. So go on, get moving. You kids have got more to lose than I do if I get caught."
"Good enough for me!" Guinevere said. Rather than stick around, she decided to run back into Arthur Gelder's mansion to check for some supplies and such. She rummaged through every wardrobe, secret bookshelf, and pantry cupboard she could find. There were stacks of Prominence bills, a small safe full of gold coins (she cracked it open with her bare hands), and even some loose change between the couch cushions. In all, she accumulated about 67,000 gold, most of it from the coins. That wasn't all, however, as she swiped some canned food and other goods for her trip back home. Guinevere tried to resist taking all of what seemed to be a secret stash of chocolate hidden behind some fruit preserves, but it was dark chocolate, and Arthur was dead, so what did it matter?
Well, waste not, want not!
The huntress left the mansion through the back door with all of her supplies stashed in a makeshift sack made from the mate of the curtain she used to make her skirt. She disappeared through the woods, and it was nigh impossible to try and track her after that.
"Well, that's one gone, will the rest of you get out of here now," Hosea watch Guinevere leave before he turned to the others. "We can regroup by the barn. So get moving."
"Well, I'm not being hunted down, I don't need to hurry" Boris sat inside his carriage arranging the initial goods he found inside the carriage.
"Can I hitch a ride with you, kind sir?" He says a little sheepishly, turning to Boris.
"Of course, I'll let you ride for something in return. Don't worry, it doesn't need to be money" Boris said trying to deal with Danny
“Nods walked up to Boris “could I come along as well “ she pulled 10 copper coins out of her pockets “this enough?”
"Heh, if you let me take a nap in there I could get you anything you want?" Danny says, trying to deal but not very well.
While Boris ponders the deal he turns to Nida and whispers, "If he says no, could you spare some of those coins for me?"
"I'll accept all of you, I just need to feel like I get something out of it" Boris sat on the carriage behind the horse
"Can do!" Danny says and quickly takes a seat in the carriage. Since it was only Nida and him riding and there were two seats, he takes advantage and lays across the seat.
"I'll be napping!" He announces and covers his eyes with the hood of his cloak.
Nods climbed up and did the same but she still unsheathed her knife and sat it beside her just to be safe
Hosea turned back towards the town as he watched the others scatter and disperse. "It's gonna be a long night. See ya round kids," he disappeared as flashing lights and yells sounded through the town. Yells about some magic user teleporting around them.
"What about Asa?" He asked the other two in the carriage. "Will he be going with us? Or did he left already?"
“I’m still here… unfortunately” Asa mumbled from the metallic wing cocoon he created. He then revealed himself from the coverings.
“Depends on whether you want me to follow, I’ll decide whether I want to go or not. Fair warning though, I’m being hunted”
"All my passengers are being hunted so it doesn't even matter anymore. If you don't have a reliable way of traveling, I insist you come." Boris suggested looking as Asa did his cocoon thing.
“Well, if you don’t mind…” he carefully got on the back of Boris’ carriage, positioning himself to where he can sit comfortably without wrecking the comfort of someone else.
I took a few minutes to cover up the carriage with scraps of cloth to keep Asa, Danny, and Nida hidden. "We all set?" Boris asked as he sat infront of the carriage, grabbing the leash
Asa gave him a thumbs up with a nervous smile when the carriage was covered with a large sheet of cloth but that’s only to be expected.
"We'll be going then" Boris moved the horse along the road with his map and a compass next to him. The road was quite smooth and they traveled at a constant pace.
Hosea was all over the city dodging the hunters. Occasionally he'd pop up behind one tap them on the shoulder and then disappear again. He stopped by his room at the inn to pick up his bag of gear and supplies, then he decided it was probably time to get the heck out of dodge. He was doing just fine until someone appeared in front of him and kicked him in the face. He fell backward into a backwards roll, and was on his feet again in an instant. "Well that was rude," he commented as he brushed himself off. "What's a matter with you? Someone ruin your dinner or something?"
A man appeared in front of him holding a dagger. "So you're the powerful magic user that's been teleporting around town."
"No my name's Jeff, I'm a traveling monkey, and I like to play," Hosea rolled his eye. "What do you think dingle-head?"
"I think this is where you die" the man got in a ready position. Hosea had noticed a while back that he'd been surrounded, but he didn't react. He just sighed and shook his head.
"You know kid, I'll give you some credit, you have skill, and heart. I wasn't expecting that kick. However…" Hosea suddenly appeared right in front of the man. "…You do not posses the skill needed to kill me. All of you combined couldn't kill me right now. If I'm being brutally honest with you, those kid's I've been traveling with wouldn't stand a chance either. So, I suggest that you move out of the way before this town witnesses what a blood bath really looks like." His voice had slowly turned into something sinister, and his appearing in front of the man had caused him to just back.
"Just what are you?" the man's voice was quivering a little, but he tried to be tough sounding.
"I'm a healer, and an old warrior, wandering through towns wanting to learn more about healing. You people hunt all magic users alike, but have you ever stopped to think that maybe they're just kids who haven't learned how to control their powers and just want to be left alone?"
"They're monsters, and they have attacked many places for no reason. Maybe you haven't but that doesn't change anything about them," the man remained defiant.
"Then we have nothing left to talk about," and with that Hosea started to walk away.
(Is impressed by how much you wrote.)
(Trying to come up with something to get more people together and get a fun story going. This was stalling.)
(I mean, Guinevere's left at this point. Unless you want to come up with something to get her back in, my work here is done.)
(Well I have an idea, and yes it will need her, and Jameson, so if you could get both of them back that would be nice.)
(Danny is still sleeping but if anything interesting comes up you know he'll conveniently wake up. ;)
