Welcome to Tempus, the sucky medieval world full of mages, dragons, witches, sorcerers, murder and more! Here, you can experience getting whipped and then dumped in a vat of lemon juice, cursed to look like a toad with a human head, have you soul removed from your body, and so much more! Of course, the humans hate the mystical folk, and want them dead, so the royals raise a hunting party of what they think are humans to go find and destroy them. Sadly, most of the crew are most definitely not humans, but everyone is too dumb to notice. Think it sounds cool? I don’t. Come join!

Name: Coleton Morian
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bi
Shipping?: We'll see
Appearance: Handsome, in a dark sort of way. His skin is fairly dark, not quite enough to be called black, but not light enough to be olive. His hair is thick and wavy, and his bangs cover one of his eyes. His eyes are a deep, intense blue, almost black, and seem to penetrate into your very soul. He seems to always smell like a campfire, which can freak some people out sometimes, because they think something’s burning. He doesn’t often smile, and seemed only to stare at people, watching them, but when he does smile, it’s like the sun shining on a cloudy day. He’s supposed to wear royal, fancy clothing but he hates it, so he is usually found in dark colors, like a purple outfit trimmed in silver. He wears no jewelry, except for two rings. One, a heavy gold thing with his family crest and another made of silvery metal with a small emerald on it.
Personality: Cool and calm. He doesn't talk much, which makes people think that's he's stupid. He's not. He doesn't like to talk, and instead prefers to observe and listen. But when he decides to speak, it's usually a calm, very well-aimed jab. He is slow to anger, and doesn't like to show his emotions. He has an excellent poker face, and for the first couple years of his life his parents thought that he was somehow mentally challenged. He can be scary, and you don't want to get in his way if he's angry. He is cunning and ambitious, and isn't afraid to kill to get what he wants. He will do anything to get his goal, so you'd better watch out. He is very loyal, but doesn't trust easily.
Race: Divine
Weapon of Choice: Anything, really. Knives, swords, you name it.
Background: Cole is the Crown Prince of a neighboring kingdom. He goes to Tempus every year for training. He is disgusted with the treatment of Gifted people, and wants to change it, but the alliance with Tempus and his kingdom, Lex, is already shaky, and he doesn't want to be the one to dissolve it completely. So the only thing he can do is sneak around the kingdom with the princess, Ash, and try to make things better.
Other: He has special abilities, but he doesn't like to use them, because it feels wrong to him.

I'll pop in because I'm already in multiple RPs and I'm a glutton for punishment!

Name: Guinevere
Age: 87 (looks to be in her late thirties)
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Bi
Shipping: Married to her husband, Gawain
Appearance: Think Urbosa from Breath of the Wild, but with normal body proportions and a less-sharp nose (she's 7'2", tho). Typically clad in colorful robes or heavy armor.
Personality: Despite her headstrong nature, she prefers to take a more methodical approach to life and combat. She can become hyper-focused on certain tasks and will not rest until they are completed to her satisfaction. Caring and motherly, extremely defensive over those she likes and will protect and support them with her dying breath. Secretly a math whiz.
Race: Human, Shiaran.
Weapon of Choice: Greatsword, though she also has a few weapons that her son, Yama created for her. Can summon them at any time thanks to the magic runes inscribed on them by a family friend.
(Sieglinde Rose) Queen's Venom
(Olympus Wheel) Olympus Wheel
(Dragoon Lance) Dragoon Lance
(Drake Cannon) https://www.notebook.ai/plan/items/58480#
Might not use all of these, but I like to have some options!
Background: Guinevere lived in a small village in the desert, getting her name from a foreign woman that helped her family through an economic depression. The zenny that the Caravan primarily uses within its businesses was being accepted across the region, and seeing as it could be printed very easily and wasn't backed by anything, inflation quickly ran rampant in the Shiara Desert. Another few years went by, and the village leaders banded together to discuss how to stop it, and the agreed with the Caravaneers to keep zenny only in the Caravan.

She ended up wanting to become a hunter after her village was attacked by wyverns. Her family came out with light scratches, but the crops were utterly destroyed. She trained on the Caravan with the other hunters, receiving an education as well. While the rest of her family could read and write, she advanced in those fields, along with arithmetic. Each of those basic lessons was punctuated with combat training lessons, each of which she used and eventually adapted to fit her own style. She then used those lessons to train her son, Yama.

She was kicked out of the Caravan after about 8 years when she was caught with Gawain the mountain dragon. Of course, their relationship started when Guinevere was sent on a gathering run near the mountains. Gawain was looking for smooth stones to add to his personal hoard, and the two met. Rather than kill each other, as humans and dragons usually would (there have been instances of tenuous partnerships in the past, but they would mainly kill each other), they decided to roam together for a while. It was unexplainable, but they felt that it was just unnecessary to fight.

Soon, their get-togethers became more frequent and they started to exchange lessons in their respective languages. She had a hard time with Dragontongue (dragons have more vocal organs than humans), and Gawain had trouble pronouncing the vowels in Common.

After a few get-togethers that went on for too long (and a bit intimate), the Caravan's hunters found her, brought her back, and the Caravaneers personally kicked her out. Interspecies relationships are expressly forbidden everywhere, so she was forced to find somewhere else to live. Fortunately, Gawain lived in a mountain, and mountains tend to have a lot of space. They lived together, got busy, had a hybrid son, and trained him to kick ass. Pretty good deal, if you ask her.

She primarily spends her day training both her body and mind. Her skill with the greatsword is unmatched, and Yama has given her weapons for every 5th birthday and 10th Mother's Day. She trains with those new weapons that she gets, and when she's finished she prefers to garden and read. People underestimate her intelligence due to her massive size and propensity to choose combat as her primary mode of communication. However, she feels that a lot can be gained from a person by simply challenging them to a fight. The way they move their hands, shifts in their face and eyes, their jaw, they all provide information based on their personality, and even more can be gained from what they say afterward. Her sharp wit caught many a potential suitor off guard before she met Gawain.
Other: Has an amethyst necklace that Gawain made for her when she still worked at the Caravan.

Name: Cover name Hosea Theodore Williams. Real name, unknown for the moment.

Age: Looks in his mid twenties.

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Straight

Shipping?: Possibly

Appearance: Slightly long yellow blonde hair kept up in a bun. Wearing a royal purple cloak over chain mail and a salmon colored t-shirt. Tan colored cargo pants, and brown combat boots. He has one dark blue eye and a black eye-patch over his left eye. He has a scar across his lower lip, scars in and X shape on his right cheek, a scar across his left ear and a scar over his good eye.

Personality: Rather quiet and mysterious. He is kind though, once you get to know him. He prefers to keep to himself mostly, but if someone is in trouble he won't hesitate to step in and help. He tries to help in whatever way he can, but doesn't like being helped. He's mostly a loner and likes to travel alone.

Race: Elf

Weapon of Choice: While he prefers to use the bow or the short sword, both of which he has on his back, the short sword hidden in the quiver of arrows, he can use any mid-evil weapon thrown at him. He has a dagger strapped to his left leg, and a few hidden daggers on him.

Background: For the first ten years of his life he lived with his little sister and his parents. He and his sister stay away from home any chance they got however due to their parents abusive natures. Hosea mostly took care of his little sister by himself. He taught himself how to hunt and track by himself. His father would constantly blame Hosea for things and punish him for it. But even if he blamed Hosea's sister, he would take the blame for it to protect her.
When he was Ten and his sister was five, their village was attacked and both their parents were killed. Hosea got his little sister out and told her to go to a village where she would be safe but was caught before he could get out. He was then forced into an army for most of the rest of his life where he was taught to fight and heal. He was trained to use any weapon thrown at him, he was trained to fight under any conditions, and he was trained to fight in any style known to man and not known. He was trained to be a living weapon. And the general of the army would see to it.
After years of training in brutal conditions and undergoing tons of pressure to harden him into something without emotion, he was put to work. He was forced to help in burning villages to the ground, and wage war on the kingdom in an attempt to conquer it.
The war to try and take the kingdom lasted for a decade and a half, ending with the death of the general. This freed everyone in that army including Hosea. He went on to disappear for everyone, except his little sister. She always seemed to know if he was okay or not.
A few years after he disappeared he turned up again. This time however he was telling his sister and his friend that was like a brother to him that he was going to wander around. He was going to explore the world and return when he was done. He'd become a full healer by then and could treat almost any wound, sickness, or poison. He wanted to travel to learn more about healing so he could better treat his people at home. He was never seen fighting, but there were rumors that he still practiced the way he'd been trained, while in the army.

Other: He was given a necklace that helped to control his power to slow or stop time. It's a light blue crystal on a brown leather chain.

Name: Jidhr Tayaran
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Gay
Shipping?: Yep
Appearance: Jidhr is an average height for his age, with sandy Egyptian skin and a fringe of black hair, with dark brown eyes that are almost black but not quite. Has some muscle on his bones, but not much, although he is rather skinny for where he is in life. Likes to dress more feminine than most people would approve of, with a lot of cropped tops, skinny jeans and leggings, boots or flats, short shorts, oversized sweatshirts, sometimes even earrings, etc.
Personality: Developpppppppp because I'm lazy
Race: Human, Egyptian.
Weapon of Choice: His water magic. Usually, people are made up of about 60-75 percent water, right? Nope, Jidhr is 88 percent water, some of which got to the inside of his brain and too much to his hands, so the given term for him would be water mage, although it can all be boiled down to science.
Background: Ran away from Giza, where he had lived, after his family got mad at him for defying tradition and law (i.e being gay and dressing like a girl), and for having water 'magic' which they weren't mad at but were afraid of. Wishes he could go back to his family and have them accept him, but he knows that could never happen and gets pretty sad about it sometimes.
Other: Has his left eye painted to look like the eye of horus.

@Yamatsu

The reward money seemed quite high for wrangling in some magic-users. Then again, Guinevere hadn't really seen many bounty posters before that weren't made out to her and her family.
She was on a small sabbatical for a couple of weeks to try and unwind after a successful campaign against the Empire of Prominence's army while her son and husband held down the fort. In fact, they insisted that she go and try to rouse up a bit of support for their cause. Unfortunately, it didn't look like anyone around here was willing to support a battalion of magic users going up against what felt like the whole world. However, those magic-users on the wanted posters must have been tough if they had bounties up in the tens of thousands of gold pieces.
Maybe I can fake their deaths and take the reward money! Lord knows we could use some better equipment, she thought as she tore off the paper tab at the bottom with the address of the one giving the bounty.
Guinevere managed to stop a person walking by and ask them to point her in the direction of the address.
"Oh, you're planning on being a part of the hunting party?" the mustachioed man asked, giving a slight chuckle. Looking her up and down, he nodded in approval. "Rough up a few of those spell-slinging degenerates for me, will ya? I'll buy you a drink afterward."
Guinevere simply smiled and thanked him and left. There weren't many people brave enough to try and hit on her, but they always seemed to ignore the gold wedding band she always wore.

Thunder rumbled slightly in the distance. It was raining slightly. At the front of the inn a cloaked figure stood. Hosea had been on the move for a while now. After helping a magic user he'd been assured that he would be put on the list of wanted people. Great, just what he needed. A bunch of people coming after him all because he helped someone. They didn't know what they were getting into. He was a living weapon that could just stop time and kill everyone with no problem. Shaking his head he decided to go in out of the rain.

@Yamatsu

As the rain dripped down from the clouds, Guinevere pulled out a large golf umbrella. It still looked like a toy in her hands, but it was certainly better than the cheap parasol the inn had on her way here. As she passed by a bar she took note of the hooded figure that stepped out. It was easy since nearly everyone gave her a wide berth as she walked through the streets of town. Unfortunately, most people were immediately intimidated by her stature.
Then again, carrying a massive Greatsword wherever you go doesn't really help first impressions, now does it?

@Echo_6 group

Hosea glanced up from the ground when he heard the unmistakable sound of a sword. Actually it wasn't the sword itself that he heard, it was the rain hitting the sword. He'd heard that sound many times. What on Earth does she have a huge sword for? he studied the sword and the figure holding it. His face was still shadowed by his hood. He watched her for a moment more before realizing that he might be acting rude, and he turned to leave.

@bubblegum

Jidhr sat quietly on the wooden bench inside the open barn, looking out into the rain and smiling a little. It had been a while since the last rain, and much longer since he'd seen any water outside of tap water from a sink. He stood, walking out to the doorway of the barn and holding out a hand into the rain, silently willing a couple droplets to come together. They did as he had pleaded, forming a delicate, fist-sized ball of water right above his hand. He drew it carefully inside, studying for a while before releasing the magical tension, letting it fall to the ground and shatter.

@Echo_6 group

Hosea went into the inn, and let the door close behind him. Walking up to the counter he placed several coins down. He glanced over at the wall and saw a poster stating "Wanted dead or Alive, Cloaked bandit." And a stupid picture of him wearing his hood up. "Tsk, can't they even draw me right," he scoffed. "What a bunch of idiots." Without looking at the person at the counter he walked to the room he'd rented.

@bubblegum

Looking around, Jidhr sat on the bench again with a small sigh through his nose. He was sure there weren't any people here in the barn - there weren't any animals, either, besides what was probably a cat up in the hay and a couple mice. Even so, he couldn't help but feel self-conscious - almost as if he was being watched and judged. He would never let someone see him so comfortable and at ease with his magic - he felt paranoid even when someone was watching him in a watery setting, whether he was doing anything or not.
