Harley looked around and grabbed bat from the ground. She swung it at Robin’s head, but Robin ducked before it even hit him. “Totally not fair. She’s trying to kill me! Batman, she’s trying to kill me!”
“Robin, I’m kinda busy over here.” Batman said as he punched Joker. By now, the joker probably had broken bones. The Joker fell to the ground and coughed some blood.
Nightwing laughed as Penguin took out his umbrella who he had weaponized before the fight. “Don’t be so smug, Nightwing.”
Penguin hit Nightwing with the umbrella once, before Nightwing snatched it away.
Callie gave a small smile as she saw the person who hit her. She was kinda cute, but now wasn't the time. Callie powered her foot up with electricity and then kicked it towards the girl. She didn't kick her, but the electricity was enough to throw the girl back a few meters.
She landed on top of a sharp rock which of course made her yelp. “Crap, Crap, Crap, Crap! Think of something, you idiot.”
Then, in the panic, she closed her eyes and quickly shape-shifted, but instead of turning into a animal, she turned into a person. The Flash to be exact. Naomi looked at herself and threw a rock across the field. “Great. I’m The Flash. Just great.” As she said that, she stopped and realized that she had said that in Flash’s voice. She let out a groan and sighed.
"Oh you did not," Callie hissed to herself. It wasn't that she hated the Flash, but she hated being compared to him. She took this girl shifting into him as mocking her, which she did not enjoy. She ran up to the girl and hit her with a speed powered punch. She didn't know if the girl shifting would give her Flash's powers…but Callie had always wanted to fight him.
Naomi glared at Callie and growled. She didn’t like being hit with a speed powered punch. She cracked her knuckles and ran around for a bit. Then, she stopped and grinned. She had the Flash’s powers, and she was sure she could use that for something.
“I’m sorry, that is somewhat rude, but I guess I did deserve it.” Naomi hissed. She ran up to Callie and kicked her multiple times. The thing was that they weren’t normal kicks, they were roundhouse kicks.
Callie took a few of the kicks but managed to block some. She came back at Naomi with a huge ferocity, her kicks and punches fused with both speed and electricity. "The difference between you and me is that I know how to use my powers to my advantage, unlike your Flash ones. I know way more than you ever could."
“Well no duh, Sherlock. You’ve probably had those powers for a quite a long time, and me? I’m sorry, but I just received these powers and keep in mind, that I didn’t want to be this. . this. . . excuse of a man.”
Naomi growled and grabbed a object from the ground. She looked over at the object she was holding and grinned. In her hands, she held a bat. The same bat Harley had used not to long ago. She ran around Callie a couple of times. She was a blur, like literally. She then ran to her and striked at her stomach.
Callie took the blow full force, doubling over. But she wasn't giving up and stood through the pain, a grin on her face. "Oh, we're gonna play that game, are we?" She ran towards Naomi, shocking her and grabbing the bat while she was weak. She then ran around her and struck her multiple times while still running, hitting the back of her knees or her arms.
Naomi fell to the ground on her knees. She hated to admit it, but it looked that this girl had won. Speed, Luck and Power was on her side. Or, that was how it seemed. She reverted back to her original self and completely fell to the ground. A smile appeared on her face and she started laughing. A normal laugh, you ask? No, like a maniacal laugh. A laugh that Joker would be proud of. “This isn’t over yet, oh, no. It’s far from over.”
Penguin laughed as Nightwing took his umbrella away. A huge grin appeared on his face, confusing Nightwing. Then, something unexpected happened. A gas came out of the umbrella and Nightwing started to feel sleepy. A couple seconds later, Nightwing was on the ground, completely conscious. Joker groaned in pain, but managed to get up and use the fire escape ladders to get up to the roof. Whatever the Clown was planning to do, Batman was sure that this time he was not one step ahead of him. Joker weakly ran across the roof as Batman chased him.
He stopped at the edge and looked down. A dark alleyway with a dumpster and a couple of blood stains on the ground. He jumped off the roof, but instead of landing gracefully on the ground, he landed in the dumpster. Batman snickered from the rooftop, jumped off, and unlike the Joker, he gracefully landed on the ground. Batman looked at Joker and tried his best not to laugh, but he failed miserably. Joker glared at him and huffed. “Stop laughing at me and help me out! I think my foot is stuck in a bucket.”
Callie ran around, looking for something to constrain Naomi with. She could tell that Naomi was weak, so even if she left for a bit she could easily knock her out. Callie found a hardware shop. She didn't want to steal, but she was sure the store would be compensated by someone once they found out. She ran back to Naomi and began to tie her hands together, tight enough so that she wouldn't escape. Callie then grabbed Naomi and ran over to Red Hood, who seemed to be the only adult on the hero side that wasn't really engaging in anything. "I got one," She said.
Red Hood sighed and looked at Naomi who was trying to escape from her bonds. “Right, that’s one bad guy down and one good guy down. So, we’re tied at the moment.” Red Hood said as he picked up Nightwing from the ground and brought him to the Batmobile. He sat him up, sighed and looked around. “Where in the actual underworld is Gordon? He and his team should be here by now!”
A loud thud was heard, and Robin was on the ground unconscious and slightly bleeding. Harley had beaten Robin with the crow bar until he had fallen to the ground. Red Hood groaned and rubbed his temples. “Make that two good guys down. Wait, no, three. The kid who was fighting the other girl is also unconscious.”
He went to where Robin was, grabbed Harley and threw her to the wall. He grabbed the crow bar and repeatedly hit Harley with it.
Callie stared at Red Hood. "Well where do you want me to put her? I'm not that strong, Hood. If she escapes I'm probably not gonna get her back again." Then she watched him walk off and begin beating the living daylights out of Harley Quinn. "Hey! Oh, for christ's sake."
(also i'm assuming that Robin is Damian since Tim is Red Robin….is that wrong?)
(Well, yes, but Damian Isn’t born yet in this Roleplay. Tim is still the third Robin, (excluding Carrie Kelley, whose the Robin from Earth-31.) and there have been various Batgirls.)
Red Hood stopped beating Harley when blood started coming from literally almost everywhere of her body. He put the crow bar down, picked up Robin and walked back to Callie. “Well, we have two options. One we knock her out, two we find a place that’ll hold her.”
Callie had to try and stop herself from vomiting at the sight of an almost dead Harley Quinn. She'd known that Red Hood was the type of hero - or rather, anti-hero - to beat villains senseless, but she never expected it to be like this. "I think we-" She took a deep breath, steadying herself and looking away from Harley. "I think we should just take her somewhere."
At last, Lainey had managed to get the cuffs off of Poison Ivy. She gritted her teeth. That had taken her literally the entire fight between Naomi and the girl with speed powers. Things weren’t looking good for her side and the question was should they leave now and abandon Naomi and Harley or attempt to get them back? Lainey glanced at Naomi, thinking.
Naomi gritted her teeth and glared at Red Hood and Callie. She hated both of them, well mostly Red Hood, because he just started beating the living daylights out of Harley. She had two plans. One. Turn invisible and then shape-shift into a small animal. Two. Letting the heroes take her to Jail, or Arkham and then break out from Jail or Arkham.
“Good thinking, but now the real question is where? From what I saw, she can turn Invisible and Shape-Shift. Wherever we take her, I’m sure she’ll find a way to escape. Maybe if we put her in a straight jacket?” Red Hood said as he glanced at the unconscious heroes.
"No, we should put one of those power restrictors on her. If we put her in a straight jacket, she'll probably still be able to get out of it by shifting into something little. Even I can tell that she's gonna try and get out of this rope, and I'm not looking at her. Do you just want me to run her to Arkham? Wait, no, I don't want to go to Arkham."
Lainey tried to make eye contact with Naomi, her eyes asking a question. Should she and the others leave now while they could and abandon her? She hoped Naomi got the message; if not, she’d get the others and go, hoping to rescue the captured people later. Where was the Joker, since Lainey assumed he was technically their leader? Shouldn’t he be the one making that decision?
Joker was inside a smelly dumpster. He growled at Batman who was currently laughing at Joker’s face. Not something new, but he really didn’t appreciate it. He tried to get out of the dumpster, but failed. It was clear that he wasn’t going to be able to get out of the dumpster without help. “Will you stop laughing and help me already? I have places to go, people to kill and kidnap, but most importantly, we have a fight to finish.” Joker said, while scowling. Batman sighed and helped Joker out of the dumpster, but the moment Joker touched the floor, Joker kicked Batman and ran out of his sight.
“We have to go now! The police is coming any moment now and I will not risk losing the money.” He paused and looked at the villain who were either unconscious or tied up. “We’ll have to come back for them later!”
Lainey glanced one last time at the ones who were being left behind. “I’ll get you out as soon I can!” she called to Naomi before getting in the car and turning it on. She wasn’t sure who was originally driving but they all needed to get out of there.
“You know how to drive?” Ivy asked quite surprised. She shook her head and sighed. “That doesn’t matter at the moment, what matters is that we have to get out of here.”
Joker sighed and pushed Penguin into the other car, muttering curses at him. Joker had counted the money, and there was 40 million dollars. That was a lot of money, even for Joker. Police sirens were heard and Joker immediately took the wheel. He started driving away from the crime scene, hoping that the other car would do the same.
Lainey copied the Joker and swerved out of the parking lot. “I’m nineteen,” she replied, arching an eyebrow. “Of course I can drive.” Her driving wasn’t amazing or anything, but it was passable. “I would’ve let you drive but I panicked, so you’re going to have to deal with this for a couple of minutes.”
Callie stared at the car speeding away, then at Red Hood. "Do you…do you want me to go after them? I'll catch them really easily and I can short circuit their cars." She kept her grip on Naomi tight, not giving her the opportunity to slip away in the panic. "It wouldn't be hard, you'd just have to hold onto this one."
“Go ahead, uh. . what exactly shall I call you? Anyways, go ahead and do that, I don’t think the police will be here in time to do a car chase.” He paused and looked at Naomi. “Don’t you worry your pretty little head. You won’t be leaving anytime soon, do get comfortable.”
Naomi growled and glared at him. “I would be much comfortable if I wasn’t tied up, you little bastard.” Red Hood chuckled and smiled. “Aw, such a beautiful complement.”
Ivy sighed and rolled her eyes. She really didn’t care that Lainey was driving, but she was slightly annoyed that she was no longer driving. She was furious that Joker had left Harley and Naomi behind to face their fate. Their fate of living in a cold cell in Arkham. “Tsk, Tsk, Tsk.”
“Do you think they’re going to chase after us?” Lainey asked, glancing behind them. “If they catch our car, that could be it for us. I may be able to get away from a car chase, but if they send the Flash or someone then we’re doomed. If I were them, I wouldn’t let us get away that easily.”
