"Hmm. I don't think I'll blackmail them, but it makes me happy!" Patton hugged Logan for no reason other than he was happy and liked hugs. "I know Virgil can be kinda clingy when he's stressed, which I'm guessing is the case, but it's cute either way!"
Logan flinched the slightest bit at the hug, but hugged him back almost right after. "Yes, but I've also seen how close they've been the past few days. This may be hinting at a more serious relationship." This was simply Logan's way of saying they obviously like each other.
Patton nodded, still grinning. "Even I can tell that they like each other. Virgil used to avoid him at all costs, but now… well, they're cuddling, aren't they?" He giggled and buried his face in Logan's shoulder. "This is so exciting!"
Logan smiled, a light flush tinting his cheeks. "Of course it is. Don't you remember when they hated each other? Now look at them."
((I've got to go eat, be back in a bit))
"Mhmm! Oh, my adorable little gay sons!" Patton finally pulled away, still grinning widely. "I think we should make cookies in celebration!" He took Logan's hand and dragged him to the kitchen.
"Okay, okay," Logan said with amusement as he was dragged into the kitchen. "What are we supposed to tell them? 'We made cookies because you're a cute couple?'"
"We don't have to tell them anything." Patton shrugged and put on what he thought was a mischievous grin. "I make cookies all the time, so they don't need to know the occasion." He reached up for the sugar from the pantry.
Logan shrugged. "True." His face went even more pink at Patton's grin, which turned out more goofy than mischievous.
Patton pulled the bag of sugar down and got a bowl. "Could you get some flour and chocolate chips while I grab the milk and eggs?" He asked, opening the fridge.
"Of course." Logan opened the pantry and fished out the bag of flour and some chocolate chips.
Patton quickly grabbed the rest of the ingredients and glanced at his recipe. "Alright… I need two cups of flour, two eggs, and… a cup and a half of sugar to start with." He started measuring out the flour.
(I'm coming up with this on the spot btw lol idk how to make cookies)
Logan measured out the flour, scooping it with a measuring spoons and scraping off the excess with a butter knife. (Lol thats fine neither do I)
"Alrighty…" Patton looked at the recipe again. "We need vanilla extract now." He put some in and started whisking the mix.
Logan added the sugar. "There's that, annnnd…" he cracked one, two eggs into the bowl, "that." He went over to the sink and cleansed his hands from the slimy egg that had gotten on them.
"Thanks, Lo!" Patton chirped, whisking the mix until it was smooth. He poured in a bunch of chocolate chips, stirred it all up, and then started separating it onto a cookie sheet Logan had fetched him.
Once they were done, Logan popped them in the oven, which had been preheating. "There we go." He smiled, closing the oven.
"It's nice to see you smile. You should do it more often." Patton poked Logan's cheek gently, sticking out his tongue a bit playfully.
Logan chuckled and poked him back. "Fine, fine. But only if you promise to keep smiling,"
Patton grinned brightly again. "Not a problem, chief! Now we just gotta wait for the cookies and hope Virgil and Roman wake up soon!"
Logan nodded. "Let's clean up this mess we've made," he said, starting to take the bowl and washing it in the sink.
Patton followed suit and they quickly finished cleaning up.
Virgil stirred a bit and hugged Roman tighter in his sleep, not realizing what he was doing.
Roman, who was half awake, smiled at the warmth and hugged him tighter as well, drifting in and out of sleep.
Patton kept chatting with Logan until he was startled by the oven beeping. He got some oven mitts and pulled the cookie sheet out of the oven once he determined they were cooked.
Virgil woke with a start at the sound and gripped Roman tighter without noticing for a few seconds. He flushed scarlet when he realized, but he didn't want to let go.
Roman opened his eyes and noticed Virgil right away. "Well, good morning, sleepyhead," he smiled, his eyes still half open and tired.
