Hello
Hi. You interested?
Yep!
Do you need a writing sample?
No, but if you want to you can. You want to do Logan and Patton or Virgil and Roman?
Either is fine, but I'd probably prefer to be Logan or Virgil in either pairing
If I had to pick, though, probably Prinxiety
Alright, I was hoping you would choose that one! And I'm good with being Roman :)
Cool! What kind of setting are we having? Like, context? Or just a random day?
I guess just a random day.
Nice. Would you mind starting? I have to shower but I'll be back soon
Yes thats fine
Roman blinked his eyes open, confused and uncomfortable. As he readjusted to his surroundings, he realized he had fallen asleep on the couch. On the TV a commercial was playing, and in the light he spotted a figure on the opposite end of the couch. Virgil. Roman smiled, considering waking him up, but decided against it, so he slowly and carefully scooped up Virgil and took him to his room, placing him on his bed.
Virgil stirred a bit in Roman's arms, huddling closer to him for warmth. He had his hood over his head so his face wasn't visible, but he was smiling softly. "Mmm…" He moved a bit more when he was set down and the warmth was taken away from him, soon blearily opening his eyes. "…Ro?" He asked softly, confirming who was in the room with him.
Roman smiled. "Yes it's me." He whispered. "It's late, you should rest now." His voice was smooth and low, but warm, and he pulled the blanket over Virgil's frail body. "Goodnight," he whispered.
"Night…" Virgil mumbled, too tired to think or question anything. He huddled into the covers and shivered a bit, soon beginning to drift off to sleep again. He hadn't slept properly in days, so his body was trying to steal whatever small scraps of rest and restoration it could get before he realized it and downed coffee to keep himself up.
Roman shut the door and headed to his own room, where he crawled into his own bed, which was surrounded by Disney and Broadway musical posters, and hugged a pillow as he fell asleep.
Virgil woke up at about eight in the morning and started playing music. He put his headphones on and sat up, drawing his knees up to his chest as he listened to Panic! At The Disco and the like. He had a playlist that included several Disney songs as well, as he was actually quite fond of Disney. The Other Side came on and he started to sing along, unable to hear himself due to how loud the music was. He sounded good; really good, but he wouldn't know if anyone was listening.
Roman awoke to the sound of singing. He listened, his eyes closed, the corners of his mouth slightly turned up. It sounded great. Finally, he couldn't bare not knowing who the singer was, and got up, heading in the direction of the singing. He traced it back to Virgil's room, where he knocked, but to no answer. Slowly, he opened the door, and saw Virgil singing beautifully. "Virgil?" He asked, smiling, but Virgil couldn't hear him, so he turned back around, not wanting to spoil the moment, and began to make breakfast.
Once the song ended, Virgil decided he'd had enough for this morning. He took his headphones off and tossed them on the bed. Once he'd finished applying his eyeshadow, he made his way down to the kitchen. "'Sup…" He greeted Roman, leaning back in his chair and resting his feet up on the table.
"Why, good morning, to Microsoft nerd and Microsoft edge," he said as Logan had entered.
"Hah, hah," Logan fake-laughed. "You've already made that joke before."
"Yes, but I made it better this time!" He insisted, flipping a pancake.
"Oooh, creative today, aren't you." Virgil yawned and drummed his hands on his chest to some beat.
"Now, now, kiddos. Everyone be nice." Patton piped in. "I'm making Pattoncakes!"
"What?" Virgil seemed confused. Patton sighed.
"Pancakes. I'm making pancakes."
"It was quite obvious, and a horrible joke." Logan stated. Patton looked a bit hurt, so he added, "but it's getting, erm, better." Roman smiled. "Aww, how cute!"
"There is nothing cute about this," Logan grumbled, looking away and crossing his arms.
Virgil smirked a bit. "I'm sure your Pattoncakes are great, dad, but I'm… not super hungry right now."
"Alright, kiddo, but make sure you eat something later!"
"I will, I will. Don't worry." Virgil said in an easygoing tone, fully intending to not eat the entire day, maybe tomorrow too. He hadn't eaten yesterday, and his stomach was hurting him due to it.
