Roman nodded, full of concern. How am I supposed to help him eat if he throws it up? Then he softened a bit. Its not his fault. It just takes time. he sat, waiting for Virgil to return.

Once Virgil had emptied his stomach, he stood up with shaking legs and looked at himself in the mirror. Pathetic… weak… He shook his head to clear the voices away and came back into the room. "S-Sorry about that…" He curled up on the bed with a sigh.
"No, it's fine," he managed out. He knew that Virgil most likely threw up the soup. Sighing, he said, "you don't have to eat any more. We'll go slowly, okay?"
Virgil nodded weakly, turning his gaze up to Roman from the bed. "I'm sorry." He said softly. He could feel a warm wetness clinging to his hoodie sleeves and was glad the jacket was dark colored.
"Don't be sorry. It's not your fault." Roman smiled sadly.
He nodded again. His throat was burning, which made his voice a bit more raspy. He wanted to argue that it was his fault, but it wasn't worth it. "Where are the others? Is Patton okay?"
"They're in the living room. And yes, Patton is alright, he just had a little scare." He reassured him.
"That's good… wouldn't want to upset dear old dad." Virgil coughed and laughed weakly, pulling his hood up. "Logan seemed okay, at least…"
Roman nodded, remaining silent, both because of worry and lack of something to say. "Do you want me to stay or do you want to rest some more?" He asked.
Virgil was quiet for a few seconds. "Please stay…" He whispered, closing his eyes so Roman couldn't see the desperate look in them.
Roman smiled and laid down beside him. "Of course." It felt nice to lay next to him. Their arms lightly touched and it made him feel warm inside. "I won't leave, not until you're tired of me being here."
"Thanks…" Virgil turned on his side so he was facing Roman, tentatively opening his eyes to look up at the other. "Your… um… hair looks nice today?" He said as a weak attempt at conversation.
Roman let out a small laugh. "Why, thank you. So does yours." He was surprised Virgil had complimented him.
Virgil just fell silent again and looked away, glad he was wearing concealer. Some of it had come off by now, but it still hid his light flush.
Roman closed his eyes lightly and began to hum quietly, tapping his foot along with the beat.
Virgil shifted his position so their arms bumped together again. He closed his eyes so Roman wouldn't know he did it on purpose.
Roman smiled at the contact and continued humming, partially to himself, but mostly to keep Virgil calm.
As much as Virgil hated to admit it, it did calm him down. He started to relax and shifted closer to Roman, nodding off.
Roman hummed quieter, starting to drift off as well, but still humming for Virgil's sake. This is pretty nice, despite the conditions that brought us to this point, he thought, lightly pressing his head to Virgil's.
Virgil dozed off and huddled closer to Roman in his sleep, getting more comfortable. He seemed far more relaxed now that he was sleeping.
Roman drifted into sleep, eventually stopping humming, savoring the warmth of Virgil's body.
Patton quietly opened the door a few minutes later and grinned, trying his best not to squeal with excitement. He quickly snapped a few pictures and ran back downstairs to show Logan.
"What are you so excited about?" Logan, who was on the couch reading a book, asked, seeing the excited look on Patton's face.
"Loooook!" Patton sat beside him and showed him the pictures of Roman and Virgil cuddling. "Isn't that adorable?" He asked with an excited little squeal, grinning brightly.
Logan lightly chuckled. "This would be perfect blackmail," he grinned. "But, yes, that is rather cute."
