Jada returned to her compartment, sliding the door shut behind her. She wasn't in her Slytherin robes yet, instead dressed in a black t-shirt with her favorite white leather jacket over it and her matching white combat boots with tight black jeans tucked into them. Regulus's first comment when seeing her was "You look like my brother." But Jada knew it wasn't an insult, she could hear Reg's thoughts and he missed Sirius Black way more than he let on.
"Let me guess," Barty said, sitting up eagerly and startling Fiona. "Newbies causing trouble?"
"Yeah," Jada sighed and relaxed in the seat. Regulus had finished his letter and folded it neatly in thirds.
(I mean, I dont think she'd mind but ok-)
(if they all become friends, Celeste is gonna be the one cheering at the top of her lungs, at their quidditch matches hehe)
"Yes, of course. Thank you." Colt bowed politely and grabbed his trunk, dragging it behind him as he trotted along behind Cassiopeia. "What's it like being a Gryffindor?" He asked curiously. "Is it nice? People don't usually like Slytherins much… sometimes I wonder if I'd be better off somewhere else." Stupid! Stop dragging them into your emotional problems! You just met them like, five minutes ago!
(She seems like the person who would tbh)
"It's….a bit complicated…but sometimes it's nice being a Gryffindor." She sighed at Colton's Slytherin comment. "Oh, yeah. It's weird that most of the students don't like Slytherins. Slytherin isn't a bad house to be sorted into. I mean, Merlin was a Slytherin and I don't see anyone complaining. To be honest, when I arrived at Hogwarts, I was hoping to be sorted into Slytherin. I was extremely disappointed when I wasn't." She opened the door to their compartment and sat down. "Well, that depends Colt. Do you feel happy in Slytherin?"
Colton nodded along as Cassiopeia talked, adjusting his grip on his trunk so he wouldn't drop it. "Well… it's… it's alright. Since everybody else doesn't really like the Slytherins, we're pretty close with each other. We stick together. It's annoying to have Kieran hovering over me constantly, though, and it's… not great when people I don't even know look at me differently just because I'm wearing green…" He sighed softly, but shrugged. "But I guess it's better than the looks I'd get from my family if I was sorted into any other house."
Celeste got up walking around, she stopped at a random compartment, filled except for one seat, she slid open the compartment door and gave a small wave "hello! would any of you like these?" she said holding out her palm, which was filled with the clay butterfly, and mushrooms.

(Thats their compartment their in btw-)
Cassiopeia nodded understandingly. She knew that some of the parents would be mad if their children hadn't been sorted into that one house. Mostly the pureblood families. "Must be frustrating to have your brother constantly hovering over you. You know, I can take care of Kieran for you. If you want of course." She looked up when the door to their compartment slid open. A girl, who was probably in their sixth year, stood cheerfully, with her hand outstretched. She was about to rudely tell her to leave when she noticed the clay butterflies and mushrooms. She nodded as she stood up. "Could I get one butterfly and one mushroom?"
Nathan let Colton and Cassiopeia head back to the compartment first, this was where many of the students sat together, regardless of their house. He saw the beaters for the hufflepuff team sitting and laughing with a group of their friends. They waved to Nate when they saw him and he slowly waved back. He walked back to his compartment and saw a girl with some clay chairs standing in the door. "I'd like a few mushrooms please. How much?" He asked
"O-Oh, you really don't have to do anything to him." Colton insisted, offering a nervous smile. "As much of a nuisance as he is, I don't want anything like… actually bad happening to him. He's still my brother, after all." He looked up when another girl entered the compartment, examining the clay pieces curiously. Citrine slithered down and coiled around Colton's arm, eyeing Celeste distrustfully.
Celeste looked at them "they're free, just take them." She said cheerfully, waiting for them to take the clay butterflies and mushrooms out of her palm.
Colton tentatively accepted a little clay mushroom from Celeste, smiling up at her. "Thank you! Did you make them yourself?" He asked curiously, allowing Citrine to examine the mushroom so she wouldn't be so suspicious of it. "They're really good!"
"Oh…well, okay then." She took one of the butterflies and one of the mushrooms. She took out three galleons and placed them on the girl's hand. "Just take it, okay? You spent time on these and it would be unfair for you to not get at least some money out of them." She smiled at her as she sat back down. "If you say so, Colt. I wasn't planning to do anything bad to him. Maybe just scare him a bit. But I won't do anything without your permission."
Celeste nodded "I made them myself, and thank you." She fingered the galleons, and placed them back on the seat next to the girl who had handed them to her "I don't want your money, I make them because I like to, not for the money." She said smiling, she had one small butterfly left, that was black, green and blue, and two medium sized mushrooms, Blue and Yellow. She held her palm out again "do you guys want the last ones, or anything specific you want me to make?" she asked them all, cheerfully, she liked making things it made her feel like she had a purpose.
Nathan took the last of the clay charms and sat back in his spit, startling Echo who had been curled up around his bag. "These are beautiful." He said appreciatively, holding back his cat who had taken an interest in Citrine.
Celeste smiled softly "why thank you, I like to think of them as sentimental objects, I make them and people never forget me; the girl who gave them pretty little mushrooms and butterflies." She said dreamily, she wondered if people managed to remember her like she wished they did, because of the small things she gave them.
Cassiopeia nodded as she put the galleons away. Though the girl might not want them, she would think of a way for her to accept the money. She just couldn't let someone's hard work go unnoticed and unpaid…though, in a way, Celeste's work was already being seen. "I'm sure they remember you whenever they see the clay mushrooms and butterflies." She looked at them, careful to not destroy it. "You really got some talent."
Celeste nodded solemnly. "Good, I want to be someone who is remembered." She said before walking away, shutting the compartment door behind her. She went back to her compartment and sat down, drawing the faces of the people she had just given the mushrooms and butterflies too.
(Celeste is giving me Luna vibes)
(that was my goal, I imagine all Ravenclaws like Luna, dazed dreamily, living in their own world tbh- and I think it fits her personality too-)
Colt examined the little mushroom a bit more closely, humming softly to himself. After a few seconds, he pulled a string and his wand out of his pocket. He carefully bore a hole through the top of the mushroom and threaded the string through, then tying it and pulling it over his head. "There! Now I won't lose it!" He hummed happily, seeming pleased with himself despite how simple the magic was. He wasn't proficient in very many spells yet, after all, so successful magic of any kind was something to be proud of.
(everyone on the train is like "yeehaw look at us makin new friends on the train" and Jada's just chillin with her two pals and not paying attentio to the other characters at all XD once they get to Hogwarts though, she'll pay more attention to them)

(so is Celeste lol, shes just kinda in her own world)
Celeste continued drawing, she bought a few chocolate frogs when the trolley witch came around, she smiled to herself as she chowed down on one and continued drawing, using the mental snapshot she took of the people who took her creations so kindly.
