"And if not that, we need to run like the wind and never stop."
"And if not that, we need to run like the wind and never stop."
"Once this storm ceases, of course. We can't really do that at the moment without getting stuck in the mud or drowned."
"Uh, Riverclan? Where do you think you were born?" Oakleaf snorted, "You cant drown."
"Riverclan cats can still drown. Especially kits. These aren't pureblooded Riverclan kits anyways, so they probably don't have webbed paws."
"Any cat can learn to swim." Oakleaf stated, "Even I can learn."
"Well, even so, that doesn't change the mud situation. We might be able to get out, but the kits certainly can't."
"We carry them then? Or they can get on our backs? We have been gone for too long."
"I'm just… I don't know if I feel comfortable doing that right now. Can't we wait until it stops raining at least?"
"Uhhh, fine." He grunted, laying his head back on the nest.

(Bye)
Finchsong lay her head down next to Oakleaf's. "Thank you… I just want the kits to be safe."
(Sorry, but my responds will be very long due, I wont be able to get on notebook for a while because of life and family)
Curling his tail over Stagekit, he stayed awake and wacked as the rain showered outside. "I just hope this ends soon."
"It should. I can see blue beyond the clouds that way, so it should blow over soon. It doesn't have to be completely over before we get going again, we should just wait for the worst of it to be gone."
Lowing his head, he glanced down at his kits, "And once out I want us to run like the wind, no time wasted, just get going."
"Oakleaf, we may have to carry the kits. It's too muddy; they might get stuck. We have no time to lose."
"Carry them and run, that's what we'll do." He said, "I hate the rain."
Finchsong nodded. "Once the rain slows down, we'll make a break for it."
"A break for freedom." He said epically, staring out the den.
"Well, back to our lives at least. Although they'll never be the same now, will they?"
"Life never stays the same, it is like a endless path with many curves, it goes on and on and never ends." Turning back to Finchsong, he continued, "Your life may change forever, even if you go to the dirtplace, one visit there and you feel refreshed and full of new energy, like you let go of a hard burden and buried it in the sand. Everything you do now will change your future, that's the joy in life."
(Lmao. Oakleaf: hey sometimes your life changes when you take a sh*t)
Finchsong nodded slowly, using her tail to shield the kits from the storm. "I mean… we left as just kits, basically. Young, clueless… on an adventure that we didn't know what would be in store for us on. And now we're returning as parents to kits who will be raised to never know their father or their mother as what they are. I know it will be hard to see them raised by someone else, but it's what's best for them at this point in their lives."
"Well I hardly knew my mother… And look how I turned out! You will always be there for them and even if they don't know you're their mother, you can make them love you! And plus, they know who we are know, and maybe they can grow up thinking their form the tribe! That would be cool!"
"Perhaps… I just hope that they don't remember who their real parents are. It's sad, I know, but it would cause so many complications. Luckily, I thought ahead. I've taught them to call me Finchsong and you Oakleaf, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem…"
"We can just say their mom was? Uh? One of the tribe queens? Its not like they will question us?"
"We could. Or we could go with the dead loner story. We've got options, of course, but we must stick to whichever we choose so that we can't be questioned."
"Yeah, but if they were from a tribe the clan will respect them more."
(Gtg good night)
