"Ashpaw?" Liondawn said, looking down at the black cat, "You're being sooooo silent, I don't like it, talk to me baby!"
"Ashpaw?" Liondawn said, looking down at the black cat, "You're being sooooo silent, I don't like it, talk to me baby!"
Ashpaw groaned, his eyes fluttering open and turning over to Liondawn. "Mmm…..?"
(Henlo?)
(Sorry, had to go down right away…..)
"Oh thank Starclan your still with us, I doing know how Blazestorm could carry you all the way without losing strength!" Liondawn sighed, lowing his head.
"He doesn't weigh anything." Blazestorm interjected as he carried Ashpaw to the medicine den. "The real question is how we heal the only competent medicine cat." "I'll recover some over time… then I'll be able to do any necessary treatments myself."
"Lilypetal can help, and maybe Jaysong?" Liondawn suggested as he padded up behind them.
Ashpaw lay on his moss bed. "I'll be alright. With a good night's sleep, I can probably mix a poultice for myself tomorrow. None of my injuries are immediately life threatening."
(Uh, brb, maybe for a while or forever, everyone wants me right now :(
(Okay)
"That's what Billow said." The young tabby grunted as he looked away.
"Who's Billow?" Ashpaw asked, licking his wounds.
"A cat I knew, she was young…. Just like you, thought just because she knew a lot about herbs she did not need any help, even when she was injured she told other cats off, saying 'I don't need help, these wounds are small.' she died the following moon…"
"W-Well, I'm sure Finchsong will be back soon… and if worst comes to worst, I can be brought to another clan's healer. I'm not too concerned about it…"
Liondawn let out a snort and turned away, "Whatever, I'm going to see Robinflight." And then he left.
Ashpaw watched him leave and glanced over at Blazestorm, who soon left as well.
(Wanna time skip or like switch to finch and oak?)
(sure)
Harsh winds pounded down on the valley and with the winds it brought rain, hard needle sharp rain. Oakleaf guarded his kits and Finchsong from the side, using his body as a den, he stood over Stagekit and Doekit to block the rain fall.
Finchsong stumbled a bit, struggling against the storm. Oakleaf was helping some, but she still seemed to be coping poorly. She picked up Doekit, as the kit was struggling to walk as well.
Up ahead, they spotted shelter. The mist was thick and clouding their vision but they still managed to trek through the tall grass to the sheltered.
They hid in the abandoned fox den for awhile, shivering as they waited for the storm to end.
(I wont be on for a while, I'm going to have a busy month)
Oakleaf curled his tail around Stagkit and licked his fur franticly. There was a clear view from the outside world to the nest the cats laid him, the only things separating them was the walls of the den and the grass and moss that dangled from the ceiling.
(Okay)
Finchsong curled up beside Oakleaf and wrapped her fluffy tail around the kits. She was trembling and soaking wet, but seemed to be alright health wise. Doekit, however, seemed to have caught a cold. Finchsong tried her best to warm Doekit so as to help her get better quicker.
Oakleaf lifted his head and stared out the den, then glancing down at Doekit, said, "With two medicine cats around, I doubt her cold will last long."
"I know, but I still worry…" Finchsong flicked an ear and continued to lick Doekit dry. "We're almost home, correct?"
The brown tom let out a sigh and stared back out the den, "Maybe? From the hill top it looks like a short distance, but I know it is more."
Finchsong nodded. "It shouldn't be too long, hopefully… I don't have access to any herbs here, so we just have to hope that Doekit can fight this cold."
