Awkward flirting! "Excuse me!" Sage spluttered, his face burning from embarrassment.

“I’m sorry what?” Arianna asked, her face flushing a pink.

“Awkward flirting,” she repeated, still smirking.

Sage avoided looking at Arianna and withdrew his arm. "What are you talking about?"

“I-we-there is no awkward flirting!” Arianna said, making random gestures with her hands.

"What she said!" Sage agreed, his brain too muddled with embarrassment to form a coherent thought of his own.

“My eyes tell me otherwise,” she said, leaning on the bars of the cell.

"I– We— It–…" Sage paused to think about what he was going to say and settled with, "I was comforting her, because she's upset and I'm her friend!"

“Speaking of flirting, how’s your relationship, Valerie?”

“My relationship is going fine,” she said, looking back at Cato. “It’s very open and honest. We talk about our feelings, just so there’s no negativity.” She had a faint grin on her lips, the jab clear.

“Omg so the rumors were true!” Arianna gasped, glad that she changed the subject.
