"Well," he said, looking up at her, "what if I sleep with you?"
"Well," he said, looking up at her, "what if I sleep with you?"
She blinked. "What?"
"What if I slept in the bed with you?"
She smirked. "As much as I'd love to, I'm not sleeping tonight."
"And why is that?"
"I have too much energy to be able to sleep tonight. I'm probably good to go throughout the entire night and all day tomorrow."
"Seems a bit unfair to tell me to sleep when you aren't."
"You don't soak up and store energy every time you walk in sunlight."
"Your point?" He asked, smiling.
She rolled her eyes, smiling as well. "My point is that you need it, I don't."
"And what if I told you I don't?"
She pinched his cheek. "Then I wouldn't believe you."
"You calling me a liar?" He asked, sitting up.
"I'm calling you a mortal that needs his sleep, as he would be whining and complaining tomorrow because he's tired and wished he just listened to his dearest Tessa when she told him to sleep."
He sighed dramatically, getting to his feet. "Fineeeeeee."
"You're as dramatic as I am," she muttered as she stood.
"More dramatic," he corrected, smiling.
"Yes, exactly." She pushed him towards the stairs. "Come on, you big baby. Time for bed."
"Booooooo," he said, walking slowly up the stairs.
"My gods," she exclaimed as she pushed him up the stairs as well.
"Don't push me, I might 'accidentally' fall." he reached the top of the stairs and stretched, purposely blocking her path.
She jumped onto the railing and swung herself around Runner, then pulled him by his shirt instead. "Nice try."
"Damn, my master plan."
"So much thought was put into it," she joked, leading him to the room between hers and Zeus'sβhe was in his working on his schoolwork with headphones on.
He walked over to the bed and plopped down over the blankets, staring up at the ceiling.
