@Mojack group

Looks like he’s (or she? They?) opening up his arms for a hug

But seriously, I love the bright colours you use in your artwork!

Painted the Joker from the newest movie starring Joaquin Phoenix. It’s watercolor. This is actually my second attempt and painting him. I plan to do a lot more attempts because I loved the movie. Sorry if it’s sideways. I don’t know how to fix it without taking a bunch more photos. Anyway, I’m actually pretty proud of this!970-A08-A2-74-FE-4-CAD-AC6-C-57-B0-B7021-FDF

@Hey_Its_Snowy_And_Im_Generally_Confused

Does anyone have advice on drawing environments, especially buildings?? and how to put a character in an environment and have them look like they're meant to be there? I've been procrastinating on learning it for years and am now regretting that
It's 1:30 am and my frustration has been building since 8 pm last night
please send help

To make them seem like they belong there more, I’d suggest having more going on in the background

@TheGoldenLegend

This is my Warrior cat OC Forestwatcher

Tried drawing "people" for once, really need to start practicing on them more and actually put effort into their design.
This is Horizon (aka my friend PrimeHorizon, will not tag him here)

Other friend, will not tag them (Anonymous)

^^their design is based on their pfp or what I imagine them as

while the houses themselves are very detailed (i literally could not do that), they're not casting shadows onto the ground and the objects around them, which is probably part of what makes them seem like they're out of place :)

also objects further in the distance tend to lose colour due to particles in the atmosphere, so desaturating the yellow building might help too! good luck!
