High on a mountain, above the towers of Water and Fire.
The mountain stands alone, far from any others. None come there, as it has been strictly forbidden in the past, and while it isn't anymore, no one would dare come near, as it is located near to Ravenna's stronghold.
Usually clear skies, sometimes overcast and rainy. It depends on the day, really. It can have snow in mid-summer, if the conditions are right.
War of the elements: All the elementals went to war against each other, nearly all passing away in the fight, and their abilities were passed on to the next elementals, who renewed the fight. It went on for three generations, until the fourth decided not to repeat the war, and called peace.

No one really knows much about the origin of the towers. They appeared with the first elementals, and vanish when there is no elemental of that corresponding element, which is why no one knows where the towers of Magic, Light, and Shadow are.
