The sacred triangles of the Triforce are the last vestiges of power that the original three Golden Goddess left behind after they were finished creating the world.

The Triforce is weightless.

Though it looks and feels as if it's made from gold, the Triforce is actually pure golden light made from the power of the Divine.

Many years before the rise of the Hero of Time.

Whoever touches the Triforce, be they in perfect balance, will have any and all wishes in their heart granted. If it is touched by someone who is not in balance, the Triforce will break apart and leave behind the piece that the person who touched it best represents. The Triforce of Power grants the owner immense strength and enhances their innate physical and/or magical abilities. The Triforce of Wisdom grants heightened knowledge, as well as magical powers and the ability to use telepathy. The Triforce of Courage grants a supernatural sense of bravery, which allows the user to accomplish almost any feat that they set out to do, as well as a oneness with nature and some magical inclination. If all the pieces are collected and brought together after having been previously broken apart, than wishes will be granted to the owner regardless of if they are in balance.
