For generations, Cyphris would only participate in human affairs when it concerned what he represents.
Dionach, however, "couldn't help himself".

During Cyphris's roam, he and the Phoenix, Luithache, had been childhood rivals, and the competitive spirit grew more with age. Friendly competition turned to hostile pranks, which turned into attacks, which turned into fights, which turned into a war. Constantly trying to prove themselves to each other.
