Pit against his best friend (and lover?), Myrenac felt compelled to win. To him, it was a survival instinct, even if he didn't realize it. Cyphrus won one too many times and Myrenac took it personally. Cyphrus's competitive spirit built throughout the many wins, and he enjoyed playing against Myrenac. Myrenac's competitive spirit was born when he saw Cyphrus slip up one time, and figured out how to win. Cyphrus didn't mind losing as much as he minded Myrenac rubbing it in his face. The twin flames enraged with this new fuel.
