A dangerous condition that happens when a pony's or creature's magic is overamplified

Not to be confused with Magical Surge, which happens naturally as a Unicorn foal is growing up.

Once the body begins experiencing overload, there is a period of time as it is building up that differs in length between individuals, based on how much magic their body can store. For example, a foal experiencing overload may not last as long as a fully grown adult, because their magic stores are significantly smaller.

Avoid exposure to raw magic

Unicorns, Alicorns, and other creatures with magical conduits can release the magic through this implement (ex. Unicorn through its horn).

Earth Ponies, Pegasi, and other creatures without a natural conduit must receive assistance to release the excess magic.
