As the result of Medea and Laurel merging, her personality is a mixture of the two. Though it is impossible to tell which counterpart's personality is the dominant one or a composite of both the necromancer and the goddess, but in terms of humor and a lesser tough attitude, Asura acts more similar to Medea.
She also exhibits Laurel's cockiness and inclination for taunting others, and enjoys toying with enemies she's almost always seen with a confident, almost arrogant smirk on her face, but remaining practical and efficient. She rarely speaks during her intervention in the Atlantic War apart from commanding, giving orders and such. In a similar vein to Medea, Asura can be ruthless once she had determined a foe to be a threat, and will show no mercy or hesitation in eliminating them as demonstrated during the climax of the War.

After the battle was over, however, she shows that she's pretty much aware of at least her fusees' feelings, since part of the reason she went to the Underworld to split herself back was to stop Medea's pain.

Laurel's Naginata, the Kogeta no Tenshi , who became the Bakuretsu no Tenshi when Asura infected it with her power.

Asura is the result of the Host/Deity union between Medea Norrington and Laurel Nasuka by the use of the Ritualistic Merging. Asura is the second most powerful character in the original Norrington's Desire.

During the Atlantic War, Medea almost died by expulsing almost all her magic with her life force to summon a legion of undead warriors to aid in the battlefield. Laurel, (Asura's god half) quickly dragged her to the Underworld, taking her naginata and chanting in latin while getting near to the nearly-corpsified Medea, (Asura's fading human half) conversing with her human protegé, noting how they had both lost each other, but are connected by their shared feelings, their quest for redemption, and their sense of implacable justice.

Medea is unable to act before the goddess pierces the necromancer's chest with her Naginata and in doing so merging their divided essence in an explosion of gloomy, demonic, frightening and frozen light, giving birth to Asura.

Asura went big head-on, as entering to the battlefield, the first thing she does is showcasing the new form of Laurel's Kogeta no Tenshi, now turned into Bakuretsu no Tenshi.

When she arrived, the tide of the battle turned to the gods' favor, and in fact, she, alongside Anthony du Cronos and Emma Norrington, Jr., destroyed the enemy and won the War.

Everything seemed to be fine, but Asur was promised something and the Queen and the Necromancer needed to oblige. She had a score to settle with Amy du Cronos.

When Backbiter arrived, Asura quickly asked for a fight, however, when Amy refuses, she resorts to obliterating reality's sense of conduction with a tantrum, she stops time for everyone but divine beings. Amy concedes to a fight in order to restore time to its natural flow.

After [Spoiler] was defeated, Asura decided to go back to the Underworld, since she was incredibly exhausted after the fight, and was aware that Medea was in pain due to her abuse of her dragon powers.

She used Bakuretsu no Tenshi to cut herself back to Medea and Laurel, with the goddess being tired but awake, and Medea rapidly falling into a 6-day coma, and her right hand becoming a copy of Laurel's dragon hand.

Medea laters reveals that if it was needed, like, in a matter of life or death, she'd agree to merge again with Laurel to become Asura again, but she'd rather not, since she really hates not being in control of herself, and Asura is really unpredictable.

TRIVIA:

• Asura is unironically the second most powerful character in Paradise Lost, but is also difficult to summon. She only appeared in the Atlantic War as a last hope and even though Medea said tat she would merge with Laurel if it's THAT necessary... she'd rather not.

• Asura is a person in her own, who just happens to remember everything in the lives of Laurel and Medea.
