Kindle was born to parents who, like the parents of most/all elementals, were of an elemental line. They knew, when she was born, what ability she had/would have, and named her Kindle, following tradition of naming an elemental child for their element. She soon had the nickname of Firestarter, as she often started fires by accident. When she was five, her younger brother, Merk, was born. She loved him dearly. As she grew older, Avani, Tempest, and Skye, her fellow elementals, became her best friends. Soon, they moved out of the elemental complex, to the towers. They voted Avani, the most level-headed of the group, as leader. When they were 15, a young girl of 13 turned up on her and Tempest's doorstep, introducing herself as Raven Archori. Raven said she needed their help. Kindle wasn't sure if she wanted to help Raven, or if Raven even truly needed their help, but she, like the others, left the decision up to Avani. After a few weeks, Avani told the girl no, they wouldn't help her. The reason Av gave was simply it wasn't the elementals business, which Kindle knew was BS, Avani just didn't think helping Raven was the right thing to do. Raven left, with an ominous warning. Two years later, she returned, freezing them all in time. Kindle was devastated when the elemental compound was destroyed, because it meant her little brother, her entire family, was dead. Ever since, she has trained harder than ever, awaiting the day the elementals will escape, and exact their revenge upon Ravenna.
