Reading history books as well as trashy romance novels
Cold and standoffish, yet passionate and romantic and cares about her family.
Zela is aloof and intelligent, and a hopeless romantic. She is standoffish in unfamiliar social situations and snarky with those closest to her, including her family. Despite this, Zela cares very much for her family, and would do anything in her power to protect them. After her father left, she took up the responsibility of taking care of her household, making her very reliable. She has a natural talent for absorbing information, and she has a passion for archaeology and history like her father. Even though she abhors talking to members of the male gender, Zela is secretly a romantic who longs for a knight in shining armor to come sweep her off her feet like in the romance novels that she reads, and loves the prospect of going on an adventure with the man that she loves.
Zela can come off as selfish as she only seems to do things for herself and by herself, but she secretly cares very much about those closest to her, and works in the background to make sure that everything is running as smoothly as it can.
Zela's cold personality has earned her very little friends, and even her family finds it difficult to be around her. Due to the trauma that she suffered when she was 10 years old, she pushes away everyone who has even the remotest interest in her, and finds it difficult to talk to men her age.
Zela was born along with her four other quintuple sisters to Ganon and Conarith. She was as happy and carefree as any child who wanted for nothing until that fateful day when Ganon's demon horse got out of control and swore revenge against him. The demon came after her and attempted to assault her, and even though it was killed before it could go too far, the event left Zela traumatized. Since then, especially after her father left, Zela grew up to become the cold woman that she is known as today.
When she was 12, she almost single-handedly arranged for her mother's defense after Conarith murdered the General of the Hyrulean Army for raping one of Zela's younger sisters. When she was 13, she discovered that she loved trashy romance books, especially those written by V.E. Silver, as it helped her grapple with her fears over her own budding sexuality. At 17, she joined Hyrule's History & Archaeology Department, and by 19, she became it's head. By 20, she met and fell in love with her favorite author who happened to be her personal bodyguard.
