The Tuesday Academy (Dropped Out)
Rebecca was born in Chicago and raised by The Tuesday Academy, a private military contractor. Rebecca's parents, fresh out of college, procreated so they could have a baby. But after 7 months of pregnancy, her parents, Delilah and Melvin Xi, got second thoughts and saw their potential child as more of a roadblock to traveling and enjoying their youth. As they talked to a man who worked for an adoption center, he threw in an incredible offer: give their child over to him in exchange for $120,000. The couple eagerly accepted and gave away Rebecca after she was born. Rebecca would spend her childhood learning how to fight, infiltrate, kill, and use a weapon, preferably a Kwandao. Her favorite training activity was an exercise called Lotto Motives, created by one of the students named Sampson Carnevalli thanks to his Factor that lets him create and manipulate games. Depending on the number he'd randomly pick, the participant would have to complete a different objective on a different terrain, whether it be Capture the Flag, hunting animals, destroying all the floating bullseyes, and many more. Rebecca, and a small group of trainees like her, excelled at these games like none other. Despite how grueling they were, however, The Tuesday Academy kept using her for more mediocre jobs such as stealing money from charities and seizing valuable information from small businesses. Even though these jobs were part of her training since she still hadn't graduated yet, that didn't matter to her. She would meet up with the group that she'd play Sampson's games with, and they'd vent their frustrations at each other. After a month of this, Rebecca figured they should just drop out and become a group of thieves, independent of The Tuesday Academy. The others were unsure, still feeling like they should at least graduate before they can be sure of their skills. Rebecca decided to come up with a final exam of her own: hack the Tuesday Academy to erase all records of their existence and steal the pocket watch of Wyatt Callahan, the primary director of their training base. Despite taking three months, Sampson eventually managed to erase all traces of their existence in a manner that left him undetectable. Afterwards, they proceeded to infiltrate Callahan's home at night. Despite the many guards patrolling, they managed to break in and steal his pocket watch. This gave everyone else the courage to drop out and become The Piànduàn: a group of thieves who would steal valuable treasures and price-gouge them, travelling across America.
Rebecca Xi was born in Sanibel, Florida. Her mother was a simple stay-at-home mom who loved spending time with her. One of their favorite activities to do when she was younger was that Rebecca would use her Factor to make clothes for both of them to model. Her dad was a rich CEO of a business that specialized in home defense systems called Bagua Defense Guarantee. One activity she and her dad liked to do when he wasn't busy was pay visits to their local art museum. On one tragic day, however, her family had lost all of their money because they were hacked. The reason this happened was because The Woodfrost Group, the investment company that BDG worked under, wanted them to engage in shadier practices than what was desired. And to make matters worse, they killed her father. Thankfully, he already left behind a huge swath of money for his family in the event he would die, allowing his wife and daughter the chance to have a new life. His company had a net worth $6.11 billion and he was able to leave behind 1% of his earnings, allowing her to start up a bakery. However, because her mom greatly treasured the money left behind by her dad, she wouldn't spend any more of it unless it was necessary and they lived off the earnings of the bakery, leading to a major change in lifestyle. For one, she had to transfer from her private school to a public school. She also couldn't visit the art museum that she used to be able to anymore. And her mom was so busy at the bakery that she couldn't spend time with her like before. All of this compounded on Rebecca at once and she couldn't stand it. At night, she would use her Factor to create silk statues of the Woodfrost CEO and depict them in agonizing pain. In high school, however, things began to change. Because of her Hmong heritage, she was born with blonde hair and blue eyes, making her stand out wherever she went. Because of her unique appearance, she was considered very beautiful by the boys around her and many tried to ask her out, often being nice to her to earn favor. Rebecca noticed this and decided to take advantage of their kindness, effectively playing with their hearts and emotions and using them to do things for her. This made her extremely happy as it gave her a chance to feel in control for once. Rebecca would do this all throughout high school. However, when she went to a University located in Miramar, things took another change for the worst. At this school, nobody really cared about her striking appearance and she couldn't use it to manipulate people anymore. This frustrated her again, but she decided to channel this frustration and create a digital person called Decamillia. With this persona, Rebecca would exploit people by threatening to expose their secrets that she managed to learn by using the silk of her clothes to gather sounds.
