stands very straight, but there's a resigned look in his shoulders and eyes
Drew is quiet and reserved, prone to biting his tongue and enduring whatever toil is going on around him. He tends to fade into the background, only really speaking when spoken to. He's polite and will often entertain others with small talk, even though he's not one for it. The pushy old ladies at his father's dinner parties tend to describe him as a "handsome boy who would use a little courage."
Drew also has a good heart. He puts others above himself all the time. He's willing to endure pain and suffering if it means another won't have to. He'll also do so with a stoic expression. He's watched six children his age turn into murderous monsters over the years and he was helpless to do anything. It often keeps him up at night how he just watched these kids his age get turned into killers.
Drew is also observant and can see through lies fairly easily. He can find underlaying messages and is very good at putting together pieces to figure out the bigger picture.
To say the least, Drew's parents sucked. They put so much pressure on Drew to become the successor of his father, to take over Donovan Enterprises and to enact all of his father's plans. From this, Drew developed some heavy depression and a minor anxiety disorder. He toys with the idea of death and, frankly, it doesn't scare him. Drew usually faces his father with a raised chin. He may be quiet and subtle, but by no means does that mean he can't be defiant. Drew's in line to inherit the entirety of Donovan Enterprises, but Drew knows that he's just going to be a puppet for his father to manipulate behind the scenes. If Drew inherits the company, he also inherits all of his father's schemes. It's because of that he forwardly refuses to take over the company. His father is always quick to laugh and say he'll come around. This is the best "rebelling" Drew can really do.
On top of it all, Drew's heart is a bleeding one. He can't help but fall in and out of love all the time. He can't control the fact that he values all sorts of life over his own. He crushes so easily and the fact embarrasses him.

born in New Manhattan, New York in the USA
Drew was tutored privately by the best of Donovan's scholars. he had quite a rigorous education with lots of accelerated classes mixed in with other classes such as "how to effectively run the company" and such.
Drew was born to Angel and Gabrielle Donovan in the Utopia City of New Manhattan.
throughout part one, Drew stays in many different facilities across the US and Concordia, all owned by his father. His main residence is The Compound in Facility #16. He stays in one of the quarters closer to the surface as opposed to the Six who all live on the lowest floors.
at the end of part one, when the Compound is destroyed, Drew's practically homeless. He lives in the back of his car with Grace and Felix as they travel to New Orleans to meet Grace's family. After meeting the Evans family, Grace decides to stay with them and Drew and Felix move on to find another place.
by the start of part two, Felix and Drew are happily living together in a big apartment in the Utopia city of Chicago.

Father: Angel Donovan
Angel Donovan is not winning any sort of parent of the year award, that's for sure. From a very young age, Angel's always put a large bout of pressure on his son, telling him that he's going to be the one to inherit an empire. Drew doesn't want this, but he knows what'll happen if he ever goes against his father's words. Angel, especially when Drew was in his late teens, would often go off on Drew for his disobedience and incompetence. Sometimes there would be a slap to the face. From a young age, Drew has learned to keep his mouth shut and his eyes averted. The dangers that go on inside Donovan Enterprises is terrible, but what can he do? He plans on eventually getting away from his father's iron grasp, but it'll take a miracle for that to happen.
Mother: Gabrielle Donovan
Gabrielle is a cold woman who rarely showed her children any sort of warmth. She liked progress and results, often pushing her children to do extra schooling and study harder. However, when Drew was fourteen and Cagney was six, Gabrielle disappeared off the face of the earth. Any sort of question as to what happened to her was silenced by Angel.
Sister: Cagney Donovan
Cagney is Drew's younger sister by eight years. While Drew grew up fairly away from the violence, Cagney's always been right in it. She loves to watch The Six train (especially against live targets) and laughs at the thought of violence. Drew's terrified of his little sister, to be honest. She's always had a lack of self control that's quite frightening. She's ambitious and she wants all the inheritance from their father. However, Angel Donovan wants everything to go to Drew. Drew doesn't want it, Cagney wants it. Naturally, especially growing up around The Six, Cagney's always been prone to violence. She's tried to kill Drew twice. She thinks he's weak by not wanting all of their father's power.
Homoromantic Homosexual
Drew is really hesitant towards the idea of love, especially growing up with his parents and sister. They aren't exactly the warmest family to grow up with. He's had plenty of unrealistic crushes in his life (on actors, the guy who fitted his suit, a random barista he saw for exactly 30 seconds in some European country while tagging along for one of his father's business trips, etc.) but none of them have really been enough for Drew to really consider anything serious. He's hesitant towards love, terrified that it'll be his demise one day, but he can't help but yearn for it.
Quality Time
Felix Herrera:
From the very beginning, when the two of them met when they were eleven and then re-met after Felix had his memories wiped, there was something about Felix that Drew couldn't let go of. Maybe it was his constant joy even in hopeless situations, maybe it was that teasing smile that kept drawing Drew in for more, maybe it was the fact that Felix treated Drew like a human being when everyone else treated him like a glass ornament.
Over the years, these feelings began to develop from just a child's attraction to something much more.
Not overly affectionate, but always there. Reassuring, constant.
cigarette smoke, monochrome cities, late nights longing for another, an urge to break free, paper cranes

navy blues and warm grays, black and cream
like a nice, expensive cologne. kind of like fir trees,, ish. never overpowering.
I made him because I realized I had no sad white boys in my story.
Jewish
He doesn't care all too much. The only reason why he considers himself Jewish is because his mother was. He's not extremely devout. He's read the Torah and celebrates a few holidays a year, but he's never been to a Synagogue.
Blue. No specific shade, he just likes blues.
His collection of paper cranes he's been building since he was eleven. He hangs them from the ceiling like they're planets in his room. They hold plenty of significance to him. Drew makes them often; paper cranes are his coping mechanism (when he's out of alcohol and cigs).
He likes partly-cloudy days when it's cool, warm, and peaceful.
