Crash heard the commotion as well and sat up abruptly. "What–oh. Oh." He scrambled to his feet and dashed down the slope, shifting into a dog and growing to the size of a truck. "GET OUT," he roared at the monster, skidding to a halt in front of it and baring his teeth.

(Yeah, I was up at two this morning because of something so I’m very tired. I’m currently living off chocolate to keep my brain going. BUT the clocks went back an hour so I got an extra hour to sleep!)

Luke shrugged. "Okay, so we flank the big guy and let Crash take point. His turf, I guess."

Nathan nodded, still unsure. He slowly backed out of the water.
